 Job Summary:

The position of Cash Application Lead plays an active role in SalonCentric’s ability to achieve operational excellence and is responsible for overseeing general processing and posting of payments and adjustments to customer accounts as needed.

 Position Responsibilities: 

The Cash Application Lead will interact regularly with other personnel/ departments (AR, Credit, Customer Care) and must be comfortable and effective when leading a group discussion such as training sessions, gathering feedback and facilitating team meetings.

The Lead must be able to independently manage duties, organize the delegation of tasks to the Cash Applications Team and measure progress to ensure accuracy and completion. The primary tasks are as follows:

  • Post daily lockbox payments
  • ACH payment runs
  • Chargebacks
  • NSF’s & ACH returns
  • Post Altus payments
  • Open COD report / unpaid & issues
  • Refund COD, Credit card and Return to Sender credits
  • Paypal & Credit card voids
  • Reconcile UPS/GSO deposits
  • Bank deposits (checks mailed to NOC)
  • Manage “Cash Team” email inbox (requests from Credit Specialists and other departments)

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years demonstrated Cash management or related experience.
  • High school diploma or Equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Windows, Excel and Outlook
    • Proficiency in SAP strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
  • Able to handle difficult or challenging situations with diplomacy, tact, and professionalism.
  • Able to work in a very fast paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Possess effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work occasional extended hours if needed.
