Job Title: Marketing Project Manager

Job Description:

NYX Professional Makeup is looking for marketing professionals with strong project management skills to join our team. Candidates must be self-motivated, have strong organization skills and need to be willing to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment. This individual will be responsible for managing multiple projects at one time and owning the workflows to ensure delivery of all projects on time, on budget and within expectations.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.

  • 3-5 years marketing experience and/or experience working in an agency or consulting environment managing multiple clients, projects and deliverables at a time.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a customer-centric focus

  • Self-motivated and able to operate independently, as well as work effectively with others

  • Strong organization skills, verbal/written communication skills and presentation skills.

  • Ability to effectively organize, coordinate and work on multiple, simultaneous projects.

  • Ability to communicate complex work flows and detailed project plans to direct team, the broader NYX team, vendor partners and the L’Oreal organization.

  • Experience with the following systems/tools:

    • Web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Coremetrics, etc.

    • Project management tools including JIRA, Basecamp, Asana, etc.

    • Ecommerce platforms

    • Point Of Sale Systems

    • Email Service Providers including Salesforce Marketing Cloud

  • Understanding of A/B and Multivariate testing techniques and measurements

  • Ability to travel domestically periodically (<5%)

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Keep the customer top of mind throughout project ideation, development and launch and evaluate the end-to-end customer experience across all applicable channels and customer touch points (free-standing retail stores, e-commerce, wholesale retail partners).

  • Manage the execution of assigned projects from ideation to launch across all business channels: ecommerce, owned retail stores and wholesale retailers.

  • Partner with all teams to generate detailed business and technical requirement specs for all assigned projects.

  • Identify and communicate risks to key stakeholders and work to mitigate those risks.

  • Manage team members and key stakeholder expectations.

  • Create and maintain all project documentation.

  • Create and manage timelines, track deliverables, and proactively follow-up with all cross-functional and external partners to ensure adherence to deadlines.

  • Utilize project management and systems development best practices throughout the development and production processes.

  • Prepare Quality Assurance documentation and manage testing and approval for all projects.

  • Work closely with L’Oreal Digital IT team to ensure open lines of communication between NYX brand team and IT team in NYC.

  • Manage all project budgets and resources and provide status to key stakeholders.

  • Deliver all projects within budget, on time, and to brand expectations for data integrity and product quality.
