KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


Purpose


Establishing and maintaining strong commercial relationships with both the wholesale and college accounts managed in order to grow customer business and hence L'Oreal Ireland business.  Maximising also new direct account leads of quality and quantity, achieving or exceeding set targets on volume and value in line with the brand strategy. The area is described as National with the need for overnight stays and quarterly trips to UK.



Key Job Accountabilities


Achieve targeted growth within a set number of accounts (existing and new across 3 channels)


1. Wholesale:


  • To ‘manage’ all aspects of our business within a ‘self-select’ environment

  • Act as a business manager at MD level establishing and implementing business plans and carrying out regular business reviews

  • Ensure that the L’Oreal presence in wholesale accounts is well maintained and supported by the staff within, with clear growth strategies implemented

  • Originate, agree and implement promotional and marketing activity designed to generate sales growth .

  • Respond quickly and effectively to wholesale account requests

  • Ensure customer account files are maintained.  Complete all required administration in a timely and accurate manner

  • Accurately enter orders into the brands system

  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of the market and customers to ensure effective market intelligence

  • Conduct education sessions/ events where necessary with the staff

  • Ensure L’Oreal In- Salon Market share is a key priority in each store.

  • Conduct Quarterly / Annual Reviews with all customers



2. Project work on LP as required

  • At least three years previous field sales experience in a relationship focused sales environment

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels

  • Strong analytical and budget management skills

  • Strong administration and organisational skills and ability to multi task and prioritise

  • Be a self-starter

  • Creative problem solving ability

  • Pro-active team player

  • PC skills – Office Suite literacy essential Excel & PowerPoint literate

  • Full clean driving licence
