CUSTOMER BUSINESS MANAGER – LUXE

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Leading this team involves a blend of strategic planning and relationship management. You'll start by connecting with your team of account managers, reviewing their progress on building those crucial multifunctional relationships with buyers, marketing, e-commerce teams, and beauty advisors at key retail partners.

A deep dive into customer insights and retail performance data will inform the commercial plans you're developing to align with the retailer's growth targets and L'Oréal Luxe's overall strategy.

You will also be expected to analyze P&Ls, identifying opportunities to maximize profitability and mitigate risks, while also ensuring your team maintains accurate sales forecasts. You'll then synthesize these insights and performance data into reports for the CBD, crafting compelling narratives that demonstrate the effectiveness of your customer-centric strategies.

You’ll also represent L'Oréal Luxe in daily interactions with retailers, leading key negotiations and contributing your expertise to the Commercial Leadership Team, shaping the overarching commercial strategy.

It's a dynamic role requiring a balance of analytical thinking, strong communication, and leadership skills.

WHO YOU ARE

The ideal candidate for this role will be a commercially astute and highly motivated leader with a proven track record in sales and negotiation, particularly within the consumer goods industry.

You will possess a deep understanding of brand management, both online and offline, leveraging this expertise to drive favourable outcomes in negotiations. Your experience is marked by demonstrably successful and innovative on and offline marketing initiatives. Financially savvy, you can grasp the intricacies of customer P&Ls and can identify commercial advantages.

You stay abreast of market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive dynamics and are a natural leader, adept at motivating and inspiring teams while fostering proactive collaboration across the organization.
