ABOUT THE ROLE
The Assistant Brand Advocacy Manager at L'Oréal Paris plays a pivotal role in supporting the brand’s advocacy and communications strategies for Australia and New Zealand, with the goal of driving share of influence and organic brand love. This role involves collaborating with the brand marketing team to execute impactful advocacy campaigns that align with our Masterbrand and category objectives. Responsibilities include leading the end-to-end execution of advocacy campaigns, managing timelines, content reviews, internal stakeholder communication and liaising with agency partners. This role is also responsible for executing the seeding calendar, activating key trends and reporting on the performance of our advocacy initiatives. 

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Execute impactful advocacy campaigns to achieve the L'Oréal Paris Masterbrand and makeup category objectives, building brand love with ANZ advocates. 
  • Project manage and execute makeup category advocacy campaigns from start to finish. This includes developing a timeline, assisting in adapting category marketing strategies into actionable briefs, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring the seamless exchange of content reviews, feedback, and approvals, and analysing performance to optimise results.
  • Play a leading role in identifying new rising influencer talent, experts, and key opinion leaders. Recruit, build, and foster an engaged advocacy community for L’Oréal Paris, using performance tools (e.g., Traackr) to identify new talent and re-engage churned influencers for paid and organic opportunities, ensuring they meet minimum influencer marketing requirements.
  • Identify emerging trends with high relevance for L’Oréal Paris, translating these insights into actionable advocacy initiatives to keep our brand ahead of the curve and deeply connected with our target audience.
  • Provide logistical event support for Masterbrand, makeup, and cause-related events. Review and input into invite lists and deliver comprehensive post-event tracking and analysis to maximise impact and inform future events.
  • Activate the seeding calendar: Manage the planning, review of seeding lists, and day-to-day organisation of seeding for makeup and Masterbrand to drive engagement and brand image.
  • Drive organic advocacy on social media by proactively engaging with creators who interact with the brand organically. Identify and execute seeding opportunities, leverage insights from these interactions to enhance event planning, and foster long-term relationships with creators following key events and campaigns to maintain ongoing brand engagement and support.
  • Analyse and report on the performance of advocacy activations, campaigns, and always-on activity, measuring ROI against key KPIs to demonstrate their impact and drive share of influence, video views, and engagement.
  • Paid media coordination: Support the Communications & Advocacy Lead in coordinating paid media campaigns with our media agency, ensuring alignment with advocacy initiatives and maximising campaign reach and effectiveness.
  • Own end-to-end contract management with talent, ensuring timely execution of agreements with internal stakeholders and influencers. 
  • Support on streamlining ways of working and establishing efficient workflows with our agency partners to ensure a strong, collaborative relationship.
  • Manage quotes from partner agencies to ensure budget and compliance adherence.
  • Upskill the broader team on advocacy and engagement best practices.

 

ABOUT YOU:

Additional attributes of our ideal candidate include: 

  • Minimum 3+ years demonstrated experience in PR, Communications, Social Media and/or Marketing within the beauty, fashion, luxury or lifestyle industry 
  • Marketing, PR or other communications relevant degree
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop timelines, coordinate with stakeholders, manage content reviews and ensure timely delivery of campaign components 
  • A social-native background, with experience across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and other emerging platforms
  • An innate understanding of social media shifts and advocacy trends especially in Australia & New Zealand markets 
  • Organised: You love a list and have strong planning and organisation skills – with the ability to re-prioritise as required.
  • Measured: We want to track the success of our campaigns and initiatives so projects must be able to show ROI.
