As a National Business Manager, you will drive revenue and portfolio growth within a large grocery account, effectively managing relationships, brand equity, as well as leading a team. This is a 12 month fixed term contract commencing in January 2025.
ABOUT THE JOB
- You will be responsible for managing key categories within a large Grocery account, as well as leading a team.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts
- Lead allocated team in the pursuit of key objectives, providing direction, coaching, inspiration and support as required.
- Key contributor in building a joint business plan and input to the commercial vision by sharing account perspective, risks and opportunities.
- Build, accurate forecasts and achieve sales targets including: revenue, profit and market share.
- Direct responsibility for a large customer investment plan. Responsible for the planning, management implementation and co-creation of optimisation strategies.
- Prepare and lead account negotiations.
- Develop activation plans to implement the division, channel & customer strategy, ensuring execution and tracking consumption rates weekly.
- Build deep customer intelligence and strong networks with key stakeholders.
- Effective cross-functional stakeholder management internally (Supply, Demand, Category, Finance, Marketing).
POSITION OBJECTIVES:
- Sales Performance: Drive sales performance by achieving business KPI’s, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing strategies to optimise sales effectiveness.
- Team Development: Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the sales team through coaching, training, and professional development initiatives.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive business plans aligned with company objectives, market dynamics, and customer needs.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including national accounts, internal teams, and external partners, to drive collaboration and achieve mutual business objectives.
ABOUT YOU:
- You will be an experienced Senior National Account Manager or National Business Manager in the beauty category or the FMCG industry.
- You will have the ability to manage and deliver against key business outcomes in competitive categories that requires agility and a growth mindset.
- You will have outstanding financial acumen, control and demonstrated ability to drive positive financial outcomes
- You will have great influencing and negotiation skills.
- You will have a clear passion for people leadership and development
