DDX: The Data Driven Experience team’s mission is to build the largest beauty database in the world, in order to provide consumers with a best-in-class digital experience.  Our focus is on the data strategies and technologies that are required to build and innovate our platforms and supporting programs for our brands.

 

What You Will Do: 

L’Oréal USA is looking for a AVP, DDX Platforms and Operations, reporting into the Vice President, Data Driven Experiences. This strategic role in the group is responsible for helping drive future innovation of the overall DDX platforms, process and operations, with an eye for delivering personalized experiences across all consumer touchpoints, as well as driving efficiencies with our tech and agency partners.  This role will need to be able to work in a fast paced, cross functional capacity, with the ability to influence business and technical stakeholders on the future data and technology investments and programs.  

 

Summary: 

The AVP, DDX Platforms and Operations will help drive future innovation of DDX Platforms, its current process and operations towards personalized experiences across all consumer touchpoints alongside tech and agency partners.

  • Platforms: This role will own primary business relationship across DDX technology partners in divisions with identifying new platforms for data usability and opportunities to optimize current platforms. As the platforms lead for multi divisional DDX structure, the role will manage the transformation to new ways of working with platforms and upskill the partnering stakeholders on topics of mar-tech roadmaps, POCs & measurement strategies: Personalization, Content, Loyalty, CRM Tech, etc. 
  • Operations: Primary responsibility to successfully implement CRM operations in all divisions in partnership with divisional DDX leads, DIT and agency stakeholders to carry operational procedures.
  • Optimizing current CRM delivery processes and ensure operational efficiencies in various workstreams of CRM such as D2C communications, new martech models, omni-channel programs and campaigns.
  • Be the CRM & Data liaison across CDMO and OneDigital DDX to ensure the reporting and technology are aligned with US & global goals across divisions working for a united DDX strategy 
  • Manage external agency support in multiple vendors as it relates to CRM activities in divisions and create the Desiloed OneDigital DDX community.
  • Strategizing the Loyalty program and executing as the expert to deliver the loyalty experience such as revenue, new member acquisition goals and generating insights on trending behaviors and marketplace

What We Are Looking For: 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10-15 years of experience
  • Expert knowledge and skill with data, data management, data activation and consumer insights
  • A thorough understanding of 1P, 2P, 3P data landscape and how it can drive marketing strategy 
    • In-depth understanding around strategic analytics, customer journey analysis and personalization
    • Works well with agencies and tech teams to design and implement our data ecosystem
    • Ability to build and lead presentations and effectively analyze and translate data into actionable business plans
    • Program and project management experience
    • Highly collaborative across different stakeholders in a matrixed environment
