Job Summary

The AVP, International Business Development is responsible for spearheading the international business development of the SkinCeuticals brand in existing and opening markets consistent with the qualitative and financial requirements of the L’Oreal Dermatological Beauty division.  Key member of the SkinCeuticals Leadership team to be the voice of the DMI and the voice of our zone partners in the Leadership team.  Navigate requests on both sides to best serve the global brand vision:  Medical Integrated Skincare, Professional Centric Approach as a unique brand in the division and in the beauty market today.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Provide direction to countries on the unique aspects of the SkinCeuticals business model to ensure consistency of the brand message on a global level: key focus on mastering medical dispensing channels and DTC.
  • Effectively interface between and zones/countries to optimize all aspects of the business: new product launch and planning, promotional strategies, pricing, logistics, forecast supply, public relations, education, etc.
  • Track business performance and the effectiveness of marketing programs by country/zone and provide consistent feedback to divisional senior management.
  • Lead go-to-market, retail and animation asset creation in partnership with product marketing, medical direction and education teams.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • M.B.A. preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressively responsible business experience in an international role working directly with countries. 
  • Experience in both global teams as well as local market suggested.
  • Medical brand experience a plus. Cosmetic product experience required. 
  • Strong knowledge of global cultural nuances as it relates to doing business in the international forum.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
  • Collaborative spirit with the ability to build strong partnerships across a diverse population.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.

Salary Range$145300-$207000 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
