SUMMARY:

SalonCentric Marketplace is a one-stop-shopping experience that allows us to serve our community of salons and stylists with everything they need to run their business.  This is a unique opportunity to join an established company that is investing in development and growing digital business.  The Marketplace Assistant Promotions Manager for eCommerce will support the full executional strategy for increasing revenue driven by promotions.  With a full understanding of all product & service category offerings, will use insights to identify areas of opportunity.  Cross functional collaboration is critical to this role in ensuring all omni-channel themes and events are coordinated with key stakeholders.  The ideal candidate is detail oriented, comfortable working in a dynamic & fast-paced environment and has an Omni-channel mindset.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Obtain a clear understanding of all SalonCentric omni-channel & online exclusive promotions to strategically determine Marketplace seller participation
• Organize and maintain promotional tracking information with details pertaining to each event
• Follow up and support sellers with discounted offers and promotional setup, ensuring accuracy and that they appear on site as intended for the customer
• Maintain a full understanding of all platforms, functionality, and ongoing development/updates
• Ensure that all cross-functional teams are updated on promotion offerings while adhering to internal deadlines
• Utilize performance analytics to identify trends, seasonality, and opportunities for growth and white space
• Become immersed and educated in all product and service categories

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Digital Marketing, Merchandising or related fields
• Ideal candidate mindset: Passionate, confident, adaptive & creative
• Ideal candidate behaviors: Detail oriented, effective time management, clear communication & organization skills
• Experience in building and maintaining vendor relationships is a plus
• Strategic thinker that can navigate multiple tasks while always putting the customer experience first
• Excellent written and verbal negotiation skills – must be able to effectively hold external stakeholders accountable to deadlines while maintaining positive relationships
• Proficient in Excel and Data Management
• Experience with eCommerce Marketplace and Online B2B Retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, Macy’s JCPenney, Target, etc. is a plus
• Proven track record of achieving insight through analytic or quantitative methods
• Experience working with Marketplace platforms such as Mirakl, CommerceHub, Sharetribe, etc. is a plus
