What You Will Learn:

 

Matrix, Biolage, Purelogy, Mizani, Pulp Riot & L’Oreal Technique US is seeking a Designer to join our agile and fast-paced team. He/She is responsible for designing & executing both retail and print assets under the creative direction of the Director, Creative. This role requires a talented creative with an exceptional eye for detail who is able to design and maintain our brand expression across multiple platforms (print & retail).

 

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • College degree (BFA, BA, or AAS) in visual arts or other creative fields preferred.  
     High school diploma required
  • 3+ years creative or related field experience, preferably with beauty industry-related experience
  • Knowledge of best practices for print, preferably with experience creating assets for store merchandising (EaselBacks/Shelf Strips, FAQ Sheets, Aisle Blades, swatchbooks, Posters, magazines etc.)
  • Support in creating a consistent and comprehensive brand expression across multiple platforms including print, and retail merchandising. 

 

  • Exceptional craftsmanship skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational, project management skills and execution skills
  • Critical thinking and ability/interest to see how your work fits into the overall strategy
  • Plan and anticipate project needs
  • Ability to work independently, problem solve and multi-task
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required to effectively manage relationships with diverse internal and external contacts
  • Thorough knowledge of the creative process, including practical implementation in order to effectively gauge workloads and deadline expectations
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative suite (MAC-based)
  • Computer literacy on Windows, iOS, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Language skills a plus.
  • Knowledge of the fashion and beauty business preferred
