Role Overview & Strategic Impact

Accountable for the accelerated growth and strategic development of the Redken Permanent Haircolor & Lightener categories, you will serve as the architect of the business strategy, implementation, and evaluation across SalonCentric and local chain accounts. As a Director, your mandate extends beyond management to the comprehensive strategic planning and execution of high-impact marketing ecosystems, including disruptive promotional activities and major product launches. You are expected to interact with high-level influence across departments—including Sales, Finance, Global Marketing, and Senior Management—to ensure a unified approach to brand excellence. By rigorously monitoring and analyzing business results, you will own the delivery of performance-driven results, identifying white-space opportunities to optimize plans and elevate the brand’s connection with Professionals through our centralized digital organization.

  • Strategic Planning & Category Stewardship: Own the vision and strategy for product launches and hero pillars. Lead cross-functional partners to execute key initiatives, ensuring every launch is delivered on time, on budget, and with a commitment to executional excellence across all marketing touchpoints.
  • 360 Support & Promotional Architecture: Own the category marketing calendar, including the development of key promotions, in-store activations, and comprehensive 360 support plans. You will integrate digital elements and activations into the core strategy and lead the preparation for high-stakes management meetings.
  • Business Intelligence & Results Delivery: Proactively own sales results and category analytics to diagnose the business. You will architect the forecast for the Permanent and Lightener portfolios, tracking and re-trending data to ensure Demand Planning is armed with the most accurate estimates for the business.
  • Market Leadership & Portfolio Strategy: Set the Pricing Strategy and develop the SKU rationalization strategy for the category. You will analyze market share gaps and identify white space in both professional and consumer markets, building strategies to gain share and outperform the competition.
  • Digital Integration & Content Elevation: Serve as the primary point of contact for Redken Haircolor to the newly centralized digital organization. You will partner in creating new "ways of working" to ensure the seamless execution of inspirational content, CRM campaigns, and media flights that deepen our connection with Professionals.
  • Global Advocacy & Influence: Act as a key partner to the International Marketing (DMI) team, influencing global product launches and content strategies to ensure they are optimized for the US market. Collaborate as the primary country partner to bring global visions to life locally.
  • MMX & Impact Analysis: Act as the primary team lead for Redken Haircolor MMX, communicating priorities and overseeing the data inputs required to analyze the impact and effectiveness of marketing levers, ensuring every dollar spent delivers results.
