This People Services function will take on and centralize critical, operational Human Resources work with a goal of increasing collaboration, leveraging shared knowledge, and creating a more consistent employee experience. We are looking for you to join us as the Director, Talent Services to provide operational, administrative and strategic support for L'Oreal USA's talent acquisition team. This role will lead a highly efficient, continuously improving, dynamic team of talent service specialist that deliver policies, procedures and take action in service of recruitment, offers, on-boarding, cross-boarding, off-boarding candidates and employees through their journey with us. What You Will Do:
  • Creation and implementation of the processes & RASCI for the Talent Services in partnership with the People Services Lead and Talent Acquisition Lead
  • Responsible for managing high-volume actives related to the employee journey milestones including candidates scheduling and management, candidate pre-boarding, on-boarding, cross-Boarding, off-boarding, and the Welcome Center
  • Lead and develop the team to be a best-in-class people services function, delivering on business needs, going above and beyond to ensure service delivery
  • Manage workload, distribute work across the team and manage escalation if needed
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition & lead the team on the delivery of all aspects of candidates’ journey when it relates to the scheduling of interviews, interview logistics as well as candidate management in the Avature system through these steps
  • Responsible for the over overall process and team for pre-boarding process for candidates from offer letter generation, contracts & non-competes through to pre-hire assessments and screening
  • Ensure team are trained and diligent in data accuracy in systems both internal and external
  • Oversee the 360’ delivery of the Welcome Center, including but not limited to scheduling (new hire paperwork), Welcome Center facilitation, Interfaces with Manager & General Services (Welcome, FIT, seating, desk set up, systems access, corp card application, buddy, etc.) as well as communication templates in preparation to welcome the new employee
  • Ensure partnership with other teams and Talent Services to ensure that Relocation and company benefits (such as company Car) for new joiners are initiated and delivered in a timely manner
  • Take the lead for all Exit Interviews of exempt employees, ensure teams delivery on providing exit packet (phone numbers, what to expect, etc.) to all. Monitor the outcome of the interviews, prepare data for analysis, and highlight where there could be trends, etc.
  • Oversee the off-boarding process for all employees, team will manage all termination paperwork, the collection of equipment, ID Badge and Corp Card and will co-ordinate with other functions to ensure that they relevant teams receive the returns
  • Constantly review metrics, KPI’s and SLA’s to ensure delivery of the team is meeting the expectations if not review ways of working and RACSI to put remedial action in place

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree, preferred focus in Psychology, Org Dev, HR, etc.
  • Talent Acquisition and, or HR management experience of 7+ years
  • Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint (with ability to learn internal systems)
  • Experience with Success Factors, Avature (most ideal for this role), strong customer service orientation, experience in a shared services management role, lean/six sigma is a plus
  • Ability to act as role model for the L'Oréal target culture
  • Demonstrates hyper process and detail-oriented leadership skills with a strong focus on crisis and complex situation resolution
  • Ability to communicate, activate, and drive strategy while maintaining execution control
  • Capacity to coordinate and manage large teams of employees
  • Engage with relevant stakeholders and considering different perspectives in an open dialogue
  • Deep understanding of transactional processes and documentation within Talent Acquisition
