As part of the CPD team, this role will take on responsibility for the management of the sales forecast for the CPD division, including effective leadership to the Business Planning team.
The Business Planning Manager will liaise with key stakeholders to develop and deliver insight across all accounts and channels with regard to business targets. This exciting role places the successful candidate at the heart of CPD commercial operations team and offers the opportunity to operate cross-functionally and work closely with diverse teams.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration initiatives to facilitate effective decision-making & communication that enables cost optimization & smooth delivery of business targets
• Demonstrate effective leadership through celebration of results & true team work, as well as implementation of Business Planning vision and strategy.
• Drive organizational excellence through adherence to planning goals, processes and agendas
• Track in-month invoiced sales versus forecast and report weekly on any key changes in the short-term horizon.
• Provide objective analysis, insight and knowledge of divisional sales turnover at a detailed account & market level
• Direct critical business deliverables in collaboration with finance & operations teams to ensure month-end business targets are achieved and clearly communicated
• Champion and maximize business planning processes to ensure ongoing development of best practice & adherence to agreed ways of working
• Coordinate annual divisional sales planning process in accordance with key budgetary deliverables
• Coordinate Month, Quarter and Year End turnover landing

ABOUT YOU

• Previous experience in a Demand Planning or Sales Planning environment
• Ability to engage and positively influence internal & external stakeholders.
• Applies business and management expertise to achieve financial and operational objectives across all functions
• Be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, and simplify complex messages.
• Identifies and resolves complex technical, operational and organizational problems
• Strong financial and commercial business acumen
