ABOUT THE JOB
L'Oréal Australia & New Zealand’s Supply chain team is responsible for the end-to-end management of our flow of goods. This encompasses how we forecast future needs, how we procure stock from our international suppliers and how we deliver efficiently to the customer or consumer. As the Supply Chain Transformation Manager (Data), you will be responsible for the optimization of our processes, through the use of data and analytics tools. A key focus will be the visualization of insights and the simplification of processes using automation or dashboards. In this role, you will work closely with the planning and customer supply chain teams to identify improvement opportunities, as well as with the in-house analytics team to support scoping and data validation. For some projects, you will work directly on developing insights dashboards and other data tools. You will be also in charge of ensuring strong and sustained adoption of those tools through training and coaching to users.

You will join a growing in-house local analytics community, as featured in the AFR and Qantas magazine (search ‘Inside L’Oréal’s drive to build a data mindset in staff’). You will also join a global company with clear values, a strong focus on training, and local and international opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include:
Optimization
• Simplify, harmonize, and automate reporting processes across L’Oréal supply chain teams
• Identify opportunities to automate administrative tasks & processes (for e.g. with PowerAutomate), and implement
• Develop insights dashboards to enhance analysis and decision-making
• Work in collaboration with in-house Analytics team to help define scope, and provide and validate data inputs and outputs (for more complex projects)
Centralizing insights
• As required, collect data, and draw insights on specific supply chain initiatives or pain points to help unlock value in our end-to-end supply chain
• Help provide a consolidated view of insights across teams
Contributing to the improved analytics maturity of L’Oréal
• Deliver training to key team members on automation methods & analytics
• Roll out analytics tools developed (training, coaching). Ensure they fit latest needs and usage is sustained.


ABOUT YOU
• Good understanding of supply chain processes and tools. Ideally previous experience in a planning role, and/or customer supply chain role
• Strong organisational/time management skills, ability to manage delivery within required deadlines
• Ability to work with ambiguity and ‘manual’ systems
• Strong communication skills, ability to synthesize complex information and influence stakeholders
• Ability to interpret data and attention to detail
• Outstanding Excel skills
• Quantitative background and ability or willingness/ability to learn statistical analysis
• Ability or willingness to learn methods of data extraction/preparation/cleaning from SAP and Google Cloud Platform
• Ability or willingness to learn how to use PowerBI, PowerPivot, Power Automate
• Programming experience (Python or RStudio) are good to have but not essential
