Who we are looking for:

CeraVe is looking to support our Global Marketing Team by recruiting for the role of Assistant Manager or Manager of Global Marketing supporting Body Moisturizer & Baby Categories.   

The Assistant Manager or Manager of Global Marketing will support the Global Senior Marketing Manager and play a key role in CeraVe’s global expansion, product launches, and brand vision. We are looking for a candidate with experience in product development or global marketing who can support the Body Moisturizer & Baby CategoriesThe ideal candidate will be driven, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, reliable, and strong in timeline and project management.

Job Description:

Support New Product Development:

  • Support Global Senior Marketing Manager who oversees Body Moisturizer & Baby Categories.  
  • Using consumer and scientific insights, trends, and product knowledge, help build a 3-year product innovation plan for the brand that addresses business needs and meets Brand DNA. Partner with Labs and Industrial Development team to ensure product feasibility and appropriate development timelines.
  • Support Global Senior Marketing Manager who is responsible for end-to-end project launch (insights, formula direction, packaging design, artwork, claims, launch strategy) and partnership with Zone and Market Teams to ensure comprehensive and on-time 360 launch.
  • Help develop concepts: incorporation of consumer and scientific insights to create meaningful and innovative product positioning, in alignment with business needs and brand equity.
  • Support claims process, including clinical testing and medical studies. 
  • Ensure the overall feasibility and profitability of projects through cost of goods management.
  • Help create vision for product packaging and work with creative on package development. Support artwork process including reviewing and approving all mechanicals. 

Market Research:

  • Help execute market / consumer / dermatologist research and analyses to provide insights on brand challenges, risks, and opportunities.
  • Work with Global Consumer Research to analyze global category research and develop action plans for various product categories.

Support Global Marketing Activations:

Work with cross-functional partners and agencies to:

  • Brief and create integrated consumer launch plans including hero assets, POS displays, social assets, PDP copy, social activations, educational videos and more.
  • Brief and create medical activation plans including medical conference activations, Ad Board presentations, and core visual aids and more.
  • Ensure content meets the Brand DNA.
  • Help manage production budget and drive cost efficiencies. 

Strategic Meeting Management: 

  • Support management meeting agendas for international meetings.
  • Develop materials and ensure quality of those presented.

Zone Management: 

  • Coordinate communication across all Zones for categories managed.

Sustainability: 

  • Support CeraVe’s sustainability initiatives as related to special projects and products developed. 
  • Help ensure brand compliance with all L’Oreal for the Future initiatives including sustainable packaging and formula revisions. 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 1-2 years of industry-related marketing work experience (beauty or consumer package goods)
  • Global marketing experience is a plus.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, strong prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with team-oriented managerial skills; manages complexity with reasoning from multiple perspectives and makes decisions.
  • Demonstrated strong collaborative skills, experience with multi-disciplinary co-creation projects.
  • Previous development and/or launch management skills is a plus. 
  • Strong appreciation for our business / affirmative sensitivity to the Skincare métier; understands beauty.
  • Proactive, ability to self-manage projects, ability to overcome obstacles independently. 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially PowerPoint.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills (written and oral).
  • Demonstrates L’Oréal Competencies: Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Achiever, and Innovator.

Additional Benefits Information As Follows:

Salary Range: $100,200-$121,550 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
