We have a suitable opportunity in L’Oréal India for the position of Manager - Key Account (Selective). In this role you would be responsible for building strong relationships with select key clients and executing the terms of trade.

You should have a minimum of 4 years professional experience of handling Key Accounts for Modern Trade Outlets. The location of the job will be Mumbai.

 Key Job Responsibilities:

  • To build a strong relationship with the Accounts handled & thus deliver both Sell-in (Secondary) & Sell-out (Offtake) targets for the cluster.
  • Build a Joint business plan with the accounts, by sharing the accounts perspectives, risks & opportunities with stakeholders internally. To understand the P/L and drive results keeping the P/L objective in mind.
  • Work closely with other Departments like Supply Chain, SDM, Marketing to ensure a retailer-centric account planning process, apart from multiple points of interaction with Field teams.
  • To track key KPIs on monthly basis like Market shares movement, Growth parameters at Brand and Store level, Same store growth, Overall growth, New launch performance. To have regular reviews with the Chains, negotiate on New launch Listings, strong brand presence in-stores, cross-category activations among others.
  • To track ROI of Key initiatives and undertake course corrective actions if required.
  • Build deep customer intelligence and strong network with key stakeholders to achieve desired objectives. To take category building initiatives within cluster and drive aligned agenda with clients.

Key Deliverables:

  •  Strong relationship with the Accounts handled & thus deliver both Sell-in (Secondary) & Sell-out (Offtake) targets for the cluster
  • Understand, negotiate & rollout new business models, develop new avenues of business like Omni-Channel presence of clients & ability to drive & build E-acceleration for Offline retailers.
  • To negotiate Terms of trade with New accounts and on-board them as profitable businesses.
  • Build & accurately forecast and achieve the accounts results: turnover, market share. Plan all growth drivers and key initiatives accordingly.
  • Prepare and lead the Accounts negotiations, as well as ensure execution & tracking down to store level.
