About Travel Retail

Travel Retail Americas oversees all Travel Retail operations across the Americas (over 900 points of sale) including airports, cruise ships, airlines, downtown duty-free stores, and border stores.

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Brief summary of the role (2-3 sentences)]

 

  • Team leader for end to end supply planning activity for all brands in Travel Retail Americas,  including but not limited to overseeing:
    1. Service and stock visibility to our business partners, including root cause analysis to drive action
    2. Stock coverage and Excess & Obsolete inventory optimization
    3. Risk and opportunities analysis based on confirmation and stock allocation. 
    4. Launch process

 

Responsibilities:

 

  1. Developing and implementing strategic supply chain plans to meet the organization's production and inventory objectives.
  2. Overseeing team that manages entire supply planning process, including demand forecasting, inventory management, and production deadlines.
  3. Collaborating with internal teams such as procurement, S&OP, logistics, and sales to ensure alignment of supply chain activities.
  4. Work in collaboration with the stakeholders managing demand forecasts, sales trends, and market dynamics to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
  5. Monitoring and managing supplier performance to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  6. Identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the supply chain.
  7. Leading cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues and mitigate risks.
  8. Developing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure supply chain performance and drive continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Years of Experience:
    • Required: Minimum of two and a half years of experience in roles requiring skills on data analysis, communication & presentation skills; as well as to influence & collaborate with stakeholders in different levels of the organizational hierarchy.
    • Nice-to-have: At least one year of experience in supply planning & project management or equivalent.
  • Skills (soft and hard):

  • Education Requirements:
    • Required: BA/BS or equivalent. Ideally, Engineering or equivalent degrees procurement skills on data analysis, math, statistics.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Required: Solid knowledge of MS Excel is a must.
    • Nice-to-have/Preferred: Experience with SAP, Power BI/Power Query and forecasting software tools.
  • Languages:
    1. Required: Professional proficiency in English is mandatory.
    2. Nice-to-have: Good level of Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Degrees : Ideally, Engineering or equivalent degrees requiring skills on data analysis, math, statistics.
  • Soft Skills if applicable: Communication & Presentations skills, Solid analytical & mathematical mindset, Project management.
