Role Overview
As a Senior Product Manager for Luxury Product Division at L’Oréal Vietnam, you will lead the brand strategy, product launches, and marketing activations to drive business growth in the competitive high-end market. You will work closely with regional teams, retailers, and internal cross-functional teams to ensure brand success in Vietnam.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Product Strategy
- Develop and execute the brand and product strategy for luxury cosmetic products (Skincare), ensuring alignment with global and regional directions.
- Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Define and implement product positioning, pricing, and in-store display to enhance brand equity.
Marketing & Campaign Management
- Plan and collaborate with multi-function team to execute 360° marketing campaigns, including ATL (advertising, PR, digital) and BTL (events, in-store activations) to drive consistent brand image, awareness, and sales.
- Lead the development of digital-first strategies, leveraging social media (Meta, TikTok), Influencers (KOLs & KOCs), and e-commerce platforms.
- Collaborate with internal and external creative teams to produce engaging content and brand storytelling.
Product Launch & Portfolio Management
- Manage (Forecast, plan, and coordinate) the product life cycle, from new launches to discontinuations, ensuring optimal product assortment to maximize market penetration and sales performance.
- Work closely with demand planning and supply chain teams to ensure product availability (FGs and samples) and minimize out-of-stock situations.
Business & P&L Management
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Monitor sales performance of key product franchises, track KPIs, and propose corrective actions when necessary.
Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
- Coordinate with regional team to adapt global strategies to local market needs.
- Work closely with Retail Manager to drive retail excellence and in-store activation.
- Work with key shopping malls to strengthen brand presence and drive support for offline activation & event.
- Lead and mentor junior marketing team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Key Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5–7 years in brand management, product marketing, or category management in skincare or beauty. Experience in Luxury is a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of Vietnam’s beauty market, consumer behaviors, and competitive landscape.
- Marketing Expertise: Strong background in brand building, communication strategy, digital marketing, and retail activation.
- Business Acumen: Proven ability to manage P&L, develop strategic plans, and drive business growth.
- Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Ability to interpret data, market trends, and consumer insights to make data-driven decisions.
- Creativity & Innovation: Strong sense of aesthetics, trendspotting, and storytelling to create engaging brand campaigns.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders across different levels.
- Language: Fluency in English & Vietnamese.
