OVERVIEW 

Youth To The People (YTTP) is looking for a passionate, strategic, and effective Social Impact Leader who will bring our brand’s vision and commitment to sustainability, DE&I, and social justice to life. The VP of Social Impact will be responsible for orchestrating the roadmap activation, roll out, and monitoring of our social impact strategy and initiatives. They will spearhead our nonprofits partnership program, be responsible for engaging and upskilling brand employees and stakeholders, and serve as an important voice to support our brand ethos and ensure YTTP continues to make a tangible impact in our community and on the planet.  


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Own and manage our nonprofit partnership program, ensuring programmatic and organizational structures are in place to create a fair and inclusive selection process. 

  • Evaluate partner applications against YTTP’s criteria, and support them through the application, onboarding, and renewal process. 

  • Be an innovative expert on sustainability and social impact. Understand the sustainability and social impact landscape (legislation, consumer trends, innovations, key stakeholders) to advise YTTP on relevant opportunities  

  • Frame an ambitious sustainability vision and strategy for the brand.  

  • Set a clear roadmap with yearly milestones, based on product footprint analysis and Brand sustainability scorecard; this will include product eco-design and disruptive sustainable innovations  

  • Research, develop, recommend, and execute creative strategies to foster YTTP’s diversity goals. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners, such as People and Culture, Marketing, Product Development, and Operations to ensure YTTP’s sustainability and social impact goals are top of mind across all facets of the business. 

  • Define an engagements strategy for internal employees and stakeholders. Raise awareness about YTTP’s social impact vision, strategy, and roadmap. 

  • Manage Social Impact storytelling content across all platforms, working cross-functionally with local and global teams.  

  • All other duties as assigned. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 10-12 years of experience in related field. 

  • A strong passion and will to make a positive impact in our community and on our planet.  

  • Understand YTTP’s commitment to supporting organizations that are leaders in climate, gender equity, racial equity, and human rights.  

  • Deep content knowledge of the sustainability and DEI research base and best practices for organizations striving to become more diverse, equitable, and inclusive. 

  • Demonstrated track record in challenging and influencing peers to approach all work with an equity lens. 

  • Exceptional leadership skills. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including proven dispute resolution skills. 

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
