L’Oréal USA has a unique program for recent graduates. It is a full-time paid internship for up to 12 months where you are a fully contributing member of our Corporate Communications team here at L’Oréal. You will receive the hands-on experience and training needed to set you up for future success in the company. To qualify for the program, you must be a recent graduate (within 12 months) from a four-year college.

L’Oréal Corporate Communications is looking for a highly motivated, creative, and organized communications intern to assist the IT communications team in developing and executing large scale campaigns and events across the entire Americas zone (Canada, USA, and Latin America). This role gains broad exposure to the entire IT team both at the Global level and in the Americas, as well as the corporate communications business; including internal and external communications, social media, content development, CSR and sustainability, public affairs and crisis management.

Candidates must be dependable and a self-starter with strong writing, design, problem solving, and interpersonal skills. Must be accountable, enthusiastic, have a strong attention to detail, and a desire to contribute as part of an always-moving communications team with professionalism, a sense of humor, and proactive mindset.

Responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Coordinate several aspects of internal conferences/ meetings/ events including pre-planning, onsite execution and post event wrap up
  • Support gatekeeping for all IT communications, including strategic local and global campaigns
  • Provide writing and editorial support
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly metrics reports
  • Assist in the implementation of the IT communication strategy, update the intranet as necessary and creation of the monthly newsletters
  • Graphic design development, including but not limited to powerpoint decks, digital signage, print, and video
  • Partner closely with Employee Experience team to successfully rollout and promote employee facing technology
  • Drive planning efforts for multiple campaigns and events; organize project plans, deliverables and regular status meetings/calls
  • Develop and maintain solid relationships and continuous communication with internal/external stakeholders; keep in touch with the brands / functions across L’Oreal Americas for content
  • Understand cultural differences that are critical to the success of Americas zone communications initiatives

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud
  • Ability to speak/understand/write in Spanish/French/Portuguese is favorable

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required;  preferred in Communications, Marketing or Graphic Design
  • Recent graduate (within 12 months) from a four-year college
  • Previous Internship/Work experience preferred
