L’Oréal USA is looking for business-savvy, experienced, and innovative MBAs to join us for an exclusive 12-month experience as a Marketing MBA Associate – Chief of Staff.
You will work alongside one of our Executive Leaders in Marketing / General Management in either the Consumer Products or Luxe Division to serve as their “right-hand” as they lead their business over the course of a 12-month tenure. During this time, you will be assessed on your performance and contributions to the business but also on your potential to become a leader at L’Oreal. We will look for your resiliency, vision, strategy, ambition and leadership to then consider placing you in a management role in a specific brand across L’Oreal USA. This unique and highly competitive post-MBA experience provides an unparalleled level of access and insight into the challenges and opportunities of general managers at a leading global CPG company.
Through supporting a GM in the day-to-day key operations of the business and leading special projects, you will gain a critical understanding of the strategic priorities of the brand – both short and long-term. You will understand the intricacies of the Brand/ Division portfolio, business model, channels of distribution, competitive landscape, etc. In this unique role, your work will be broad, ranging from developing strategic business recommendations, to working collaboratively on cross-functional projects with partners at all levels of the organizations, to project management and presentation creating for C-suite business reviews.
As a second key accountability of your role, you will have a dotted line report to an Executive Leader in Sales to help drive insights for a brand/ or a division Portfolio from the perspective of one of our key retailer.
You will assist in the creation of a forward thinking plan of growth for our retailer partners and to be prepared for what is next. Provide learnings to management and peers on market changes, growth initiatives and the inner workings on our retailer partners. Drive competitive analysis of retailer in relationship to other retailers and opportunities for Division/Brand portfolio (local benchmark with Sales and Marketing teams + international with accounts). Consolidate the reporting approach to track promotional activity, Share of Voice social, digital assets, etc. for top retailer(s). Develop and maintain a Retailer playbook and share back with Marketing teams – including: growth drivers, retailer history/demographics etc. Lead and adapt a relevant process with Luxe Brands and stakeholders to create an environment for sharing best practices and elevating the understanding of our strategic retail partners and channels (Meeting cadence, set up, pre-planning, outputs, communication cadence and platform).
