Division: Designer Fragrances & Beauty – Couture (Prada, Valentino, Viktor & Rolf, Mugler) and Lifestyle (Ralph Lauren, Maison Margiela, Azzaro) Fragrances; Couture Beauty (Prada & Valentino)

Supervisor Title: AVP Sales Lifestyle &Collections / Couture Fragrance

Location: Remote


Section 2: Job Summary

Negotiate, develop, and execute a sales strategy for US Self Assist channel of distribution for Couture and Lifestyle Fragrance and Beauty accounts to enable the company to maximize its achievement of corporate retail and net sales objectives.   Lead the planning and executing of new product launches, promotions, gifting programs, and all special programs at all retailers.  Partner with AVP of DF Planning to review and align on weekly, monthly, and annual forecasting.   Work in conjunction with AVP of Field Sales and CERE to deploy and plan in-store merchandising, eventing and education.

Maintain strong relationships with external retail partners and internal cross-functional teams to ensure success in all channels of distribution. Anticipate and analyze industry-selling trends and implement strategic action plans to impact the business. Work in close partnership with the One Luxe teams – COE (Sales admin, Retailers), and the Designer Fragrance team (Marketing, D2C, demand planning and education.

1. Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 10 years’ experience in cosmetic or retail management

C1 - Internal use

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

1. Sales

Achieve retail and net sales goals for all US market Couture and Lifestyle Fragrance/Beauty retailers and channels (B&M, dotcom) of distribution. Establish goals in conjunction with senior management and communicate business strategies to teams to maximize meet/exceed the company’s objectives and increase profitability. Consistently monitor progress to ensure an impact and shift priorities as needed.  Track SOM for both B&M and dotcom - outline strategies to achieve goals in SOM, rankings. 

2. Strategic Planning

Oversee the strategic wholesale retailer relationships. Ensure the Couture and Lifestyle Fragrance and Beauty objectives and strategies are clear to the retailers, while translating the retailer strategies to the Couture and Lifestyle internal team. Ensure forecasts and plans are established and followed. Partner with Marketing on the development of launch plans for all Couture and Lifestyle Fragrance and Beauty retail channels.  Leverage knowledge of retailer playbook to partner with marketing to innovate new go to market strategies and implement omni consumer activations.  Align digital strategies with all channels: retailers, D2C and Amazon for an aligned promotional approach.  Manage retailer marketing headcount: GWPs, sampling, visuals, Eventing from planning to execution to tie results in with sales ambition. 

3. Budget

Oversee the planning and forecasting sales by channel and customer, promotional spending, discounts, and allowances. Review P&L by customer and outline strategies to achieve targets.  Plan and manage the capex funding for Couture and Lifestyle Fragrance and Beauty accounts.    Management T&E budget for team.

 4. Sell-Out

Partner on RSS strategies to ensure spend is aligned with brand / channel / retailer ambition and pivot as needed.  Partner with CERE lead to implement best in class training and eventing strategies (track goal and tools)

Recruit, retain and develop a high performing sales team. Establish selling and management goals to evaluate performance, ensuring succession plans are in place and training needs are met.
