Candidates must have received a Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months OR must have graduated with a Master’s degree within the last 12 months with no gap more than 5 months in education history.
Previous internship experience is a plus.
PC literate in Microsoft Office Applications; HR systems a plus
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Attract & Retain
oAssist with sourcing resumes and phone screening for non exempt positions
oMaintain candidate information in Applicant Tracking System (Avature) for non exempt positions
oAssist with On-boarding/New hire Orientation/ Red Carpet Link
oCoordinate pre-employment procedures with vendor for background checks and drug screens
oAssist with Campus Recruitment
oSupport filling temporary positions as needed
Training & Development
Assist with the development of and facilitation of Training Programs & Team Building activities
•Interface with Payroll, HR Service Center, Benefits and other support departments to provide guidance for employees
•Assist in coordinating Employee Activities: Bring Your Child To Work Day (BYCTWD), Volunteer Day, Blood Drive etc. for the facility
•Assist with worker's compensation; FMLA; short term disability, etc. and related claims
oSupport a comprehensive review of records retention including I-9’s, terminations and job files compliant for AAP to ensure documentation in accordance with State & Federal requirements
oUpdate personnel activity into the PRISM system (workflows, requisitions, terminations etc.)
oProcess invoices and maintains department budget records using SAP
oAssist with preparation of monthly HR reports using Org Plus for organizational charts, Business Objects for other reporting such as MAP tracking, etc.
