Overview

L’Oreal Dermatological Beauty (LBD) is looking for a passionate, bright, and analytical candidate to join the Amazon sales team responsible for the Amazon business in the U.S. 

This role is responsible for strategic management and acceleration of a leading Skincare brand on Amazon. This role requires a general management mind-set to optimize across all areas of the Amazon flywheel. Through strong cross-functional leadership, this individual will drive excellence across sales management, media/marketing, business analytics, supply chain. 

This position reports to the AVP, Amazon Sales.


Responsibilities

  • Leads the development and execution of Amazon brand strategy with key cross-functional partners in marketing, media, cx. 
  • Amazon P&L ownership on brand. 
    • Manage net sales and shipments. 
    • Manage sales forecasts and investment plans, providing weekly/monthly/quarterly estimates on sales projections and plans.
    • Responsible for managing trade budget, drive cross-functional alignment on media spend and manage operational penalties reduction & optimization. 
  • Account Management: 
    • Leads strategic planning to drive continuous optimization of business drivers by tracking, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from specific e-commerce KPIs.
  • Collaborate with team business intelligence analysts on reporting & insights to support business management, test & learn new ideas to drive incremental revenue
    • Main point of contact for Amazon Vendor Management teams responsible for customer relationship and ensure full alignment on brand strategy, sales goals, and merchandising plan execution
    • Work with brand marketing teams to ensure brand strategy is being executed and optimized on the platform. 
    • Work closely with customer service, supply chain, sales operations, demand planning teams to deliver & optimize the business. 
    • Establish as Amazon SME. Build deep understanding of Amazon platform, category & competition to inform brand strategy on the platform. 

Requirement

  • Beauty / skincare experience preferred; CPG experience required
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a marketing / sales / digital role required
  • Account management background
  • Experience with Amazon 1P and customer negotiations
  • Experience analyzing performance data and summarizing / communicating findings via reports and presentations. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs. 
  • Communicates clearly and succinctly in both oral and written forms.
  • Demonstrated interest and enthusiasm for marketing and communications (advertising, digital marketing, pr, media).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proactive and results oriented thinker who would flourish in an entrepreneurial environment where new ideas are championed.
