The Sr Manager, Education is responsible for the planning, development and execution of store and in-salon Education on a national basis for all brands.




  • Partner with brands and internal departments to develop effective strategies to drive sales through Education
  • Identify, develop and implement Education Programs necessary to support internal and external growth needs
  • Work with key business partners to continually manage, promote, and sell out all classes.
  • Management of all Education assets- class content, flyers, product lists, social assets
  • Manage Education Dashboard and reporting monthly with recommendations and calls to action.
  • Collaborate with brands and key business partners to create an education calendar to support SalonCentric and brand initiatives.
  • Manage, track and report on progress of education activities from inception to execution.
  • Manage master schedule for the US, based on sales and education strategy
  • Act as a liaison between brand partners and internal departments
  • Work with Continuing Education function to ensure adherence to all state guidelines and provide required descriptions to maintain CE status within each state for digital classes.
  • Participate in status meetings with internal departments to maintain seamless processes.
  • Highlight events of concern and make recommendations to improve future results.
  • Attend national meetings and at least 1 trade show per year.
  • Identify and develop best practices and policies/procedures related to store and in-salon education.
  • Responsible for the growth and development of two Education Managers
  • Perform special projects as directed by AVP, Education




  • At least 3-5 years of event planning, education and/or professional beauty industry experience, including management/supervisory experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain productive working partnerships with a wide variety of individuals across functions and levels
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint (required) and (preferred)
  • Ability to effectively manage a high volume of activity, with adaptability to changing demands
  • Must be able to remain stationary or sit for the majority of a scheduled day.
  • Ability to sit and use normal office equipment (phone, computer etc.) more than 90% of the day.
  • Ability to travel 25% based on business needs
