Do have a passion for influencer marketing? Do you know what it takes to create scroll stopping content? Are you obsessed with finding the hottest talent on TikTok? Do you know what it takes to go viral? We are looking for an Assistant Social Brand Manager to join the Maybelline team, reporting into the Social Brand Manager, to drive social and content excellence. The Assistant Social Brand Manager will be a key player in driving our advocacy strategy across a range of social platforms. 


A DAY IN THE LIFE 

CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT

  • Manage end-to-end paid influencer campaigns alongside influencer agency WPP, in line with the brand calendar.
  • Identify the right talent for all campaigns, with target audience, KPI’s and social platform in mind.
  • Ideate scroll stopping social hooks part of the wider 360 marketing campaigns and create content briefs to execute all campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create content excellence across all touchpoints.
  • Build influencer campaign strategy slides as part of 360 marketing campaign. 
  • Oversee talent contracts, negotiations and fees approval via influencer agency WPP.
  • Identify emerging social trends and work quickly to execute agile campaigns


INFLUENCER EXPERTISE

  • Be the go-to for identifying ‘hot right now’ and rising talent for campaigns and long-term signings.
  • Competitor analysis on top influencer views & engagement drivers and key opportunities for the brand.
  • Data driven and strategic decisions building influencer tribes with the full funnel pyramid 
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms to identify the right talent across; TikTok, YouTube, Instagram. 
  • Identify the right talent relating to brand strategy with an understanding of both awareness & conversion driving influencers and the role they play.


REPORTING// PRESENTING

  • Report back to the business on paid advocacy results, using tools such as Traackr and Power BI.
  • Confidently present best in class advocacy activations to the wider business.

  • Obsessed with all things social with a strong understanding of each platform
  • Have a strong grasp of UK influencers across top VIP profiles and new up and coming talent.
  • Have your finger on the pulse of trends and big cultural moments.
  • Understand what it takes to create thumb-stopping content and how to hype up viral products
  • A creative soul, with an analytical mind who loves to report on key wins & share what is working & what isn’t.
  • Enjoy building relationships with talent and know what it takes to foster strong connections.  
  • Have strong presentation skills and can present with confidence.  
  • Have a creative eye with attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding workplace. 
  • Proficient at creating and maintaining an authentic brand voice across content. 
  • Understanding of influencer management and analytics tools.
