At L'Oréal, Finance is not just about keeping the books; it is about co-piloting the business. As a Financial Controller within our Finance & Controlling team, you will join a highly dynamic department that acts as a strategic navigator for our Divisions, Brands, or Operations. Working at the crossroads of strategy, commercial negotiations, marketing spend, and supply chain, you will be in a prime position to influence key business decisions and drive sustainable, profitable growth for the world’s leading beauty company.

Your mission is to act as a trusted Business Partner to General Management and operational teams. You will steer the financial performance of your scope, turn financial data into actionable strategic insights, optimize resource allocation, and ensure strict compliance with Group internal control guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Partnering & Strategic Steering: Partner with Brand, Sales, and Marketing teams to challenge and validate business models, launch plans, pricing strategies, and marketing return on investment (ROI).
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the construction of the annual Budget, Trend forecasts, and Three-Year strategic plans for your perimeter, ensuring alignment with overall Group targets.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze monthly KPIs (Sales, Gross Margin, EBIT, Cash Flow), identify variances against targets, and propose corrective action plans.
  • Cost Control & Profitability Optimization: Conduct deep-dive reviews of operational expenses, cost of goods sold (COGS), and working capital, driving cost-efficiency initiatives.
  • Governance & Internal Control: Maintain and enforce strict internal control processes and accounting policies (IFRS and local standards) to safeguard Group assets and data integrity.
  • Process Digitalization: Drive process optimization and tools modernization (including automation and dashboard design) to enhance reporting speed and accuracy.

Profile Requirements

  • Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3 to 6 years of solid experience in financial controlling, audit, or corporate finance (FMCG, Retail, or Beauty sector is a plus).
  • Advanced mastery of Excel and SAP. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI) is highly appreciated.
  • Outstanding collaboration and interpersonal skills to challenge and influence non-financial business partners effectively.
  • A proactive, agile, and curious profile who embraces the "test and learn" philosophy.
  • Strong capability to dissect complex data sets and translate them into a clear, pedagogical business narrative.

What’s In It For You

  • A place for you to leave your comfort zone and grow beyond your potential (here, you’ll be encouraged to try new things and take risks!).

  • An environment where people of every ethnicity, social background, age, religion, gender, and sexual orientation, as well as people with disabilities, are accepted, can speak up, will thrive, and are celebrated!
  • A place where you can contribute to something bigger! Many of our brands have societal/environmental causes to make a concrete difference.
