A Day in the Life

As our Trade Marketing Manager, you will be the strategic link between our sales and marketing teams, bringing our L'Oréal Dermatological Beauty brands such as Vichy, La Roche-Posay, or CeraVe, to life at the point of sale across the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Reporting to the Head of Trade & Category Management, you will develop and execute powerful trade marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, engage shoppers, and drive sales growth in key channels like pharmacies and drugstores.

You will be responsible for:

  • In-Store Excellence: Design and implement the annual trade marketing plan, including promotions, events, and merchandising solutions to create an exceptional shopper experience.
  • Category Activation: Collaborate with Key Account Managers to develop tailored activation plans for strategic partners, using category insights to optimize assortment and shelf presence.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the key contact for the sales team, equipping them with the necessary tools, materials, and product knowledge to effectively execute brand strategies in the field.
  • Performance & Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of all trade marketing initiatives, tracking ROI and using data-driven insights to refine future campaigns and drive business results.

You are a commercially-minded marketer with a talent for creating impactful in-store experiences. You excel at turning brand strategies into successful commercial plans and thrive on collaborating with diverse teams to achieve shared goals.

We believe you're a great match if you possess:

  • Retail / Trade Activation: Proven experience in developing and executing trade marketing strategies, ideally within the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or FMCG sector.
  • Category Management: Strong ability to analyze market and shopper data to provide insights and optimize category performance.
  • Project Management: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects, timelines, and budgets effectively.
  • Collaboration & Influence: The ability to work seamlessly with sales, marketing, and external partners to drive alignment and execution.
  • Commercial Acumen: A solid understanding of the retail landscape and the financial drivers of business success.
