We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our Talent Acquisition team in our Clark, New Jersey site, which includes our new, state of the art Research & Innovation Facility. This role will be responsible for the attraction and recruitment of top scientific and technical talent for our Research & Innovation functions, as well as our Development and Packaging Engineering functions in Operations. This role requires superior communication and organizational skills and the ability to build relationships with candidates as well as L’Oreal business partners in the US and globally.

 

What You Will Learn:

In this role, you will learn how to recruit and manage top talents for L’Oréal’s open positions, provide a best-in-class candidate experience journey from end to end, and demonstrate superior communication to your business stakeholders with a larger goal of enhancing L’Oréal’s attractiveness as an employer. This position requires an individual capable of managing high-volume, highly technical recruitment, cutting through complexity to make decisions in ambiguous situations, superior problem solving, and composure in a dynamic and ever-changing environment. The position will be the primary point of contact for candidates and business partners at all levels of seniority and must be experienced and adept at building and managing Executive level partnerships.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Own end to end recruitment for open requisitions across Research & Innovation, Operations Development, and Packaging Engineering.
  • Partner closely with Hiring Managers, HR business partners, and cross-functional partners to ensure sourcing and hiring strategies are aligned with people & growth strategies.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of L’Oréal’s Dimensions of Potential and use them to identify, interview and recommend the best talent.
  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies that build pipelines of top talent for key skill sets and commonly open positions.
  • Maintain regular and timely communication with candidates and business partners throughout the full recruitment process.
  • Use data, industry knowledge, and expertise to identify and attract the best-in-class and diverse talent.
  • Influence stakeholders by building and strengthening partnerships and keeping them up to date on talent market trends and recruitment intelligence.
  • Contribute to strategic projects including occasional campus visits and industry activations.
  • Be an enthusiastic and engaged member of a highly functioning, global recruitment team that looks to continuously innovate, improve, and drive tangible business results.

 

What We Are Looking For:

  • A completed bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 2-5 years of recruitment is required.
  • Knowledge of Scientific and Engineering functions is preferred.
  • Previous experience working in an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) including but not limited to Avature is preferred.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, high requisition volumes, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an attention to detail.
  • Experience in creating and leveraging recruitment insights and reporting using data to inform business and HR stakeholders domestically and globally.
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite experience including presentation building and data analysis skills preferred.
  • Ability to handle and maintain highly confidential and sensitive data and information on a regular basis with discretion.
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis, without the need for sponsorship now or in the future (required).
