As the Drugstores Channel Manager, you will be the strategic architect of our presence in the most competitive and fast-growing beauty retail environment. Your mission is to accelerate market share growth by building high-impact partnerships with key drugstore retailers, ensuring our brands dominate the "Medical Beauty" segment through strategic distribution, innovative trade activations, and world-class category management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership & People Development

    Lead & Inspire: Manage and develop a high-performing team of Key Account Specialists, fostering a culture of ownership, agility, and excellence.

    Coaching: Act as a mentor, conducting regular 1-to-1 sessions and "field visits" to retailers to sharpen the team's negotiation and strategic skills.

    Performance Management: Define clear individual and collective KPIs, ensuring the team is motivated and aligned with the LDB division’s annual targets.

2. Channel Strategy & Commercial Policy

    Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute a 3-year growth strategy for the Drugstore channel, identifying new "white space" opportunities and optimizing the current brand portfolio.

    JBP (Joint Business Plans): Design and lead the negotiation of annual JBPs with top-tier retailers, aligning L'Oréal’s brand priorities with the retailer's category goals.

    P&L Ownership: Manage the channel's Profit & Loss statement, optimizing trade spend, promotional ROI, and investment levels to ensure sustainable profitability.


3. Negotiation & Account Management

    Top-to-Top Negotiations: Lead high-level negotiations regarding commercial terms, listings, pricing, and promotional slots.

    Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with Category Managers and Purchasing Directors at the retailers’ headquarters.

    Conflict Resolution: Proactively manage commercial challenges and ensure a "win-win" outcome during difficult negotiation cycles.


4. Category Management & "Picture of Success"

    Retail Excellence: Partner with Trade Marketing to define the "Golden Store" standards. Ensure our brands have premium visibility, including dermoconsultation zones and medical corners.

    Planogram Optimization: Lead "CatMan" initiatives to ensure our products are positioned for maximum shopper conversion and logical navigation within the dermocosmetyka shelf.

    Innovation Launches: Ensure 100% flawless execution of new product launches (NPD), securing off-shelf visibility and digital support within the retailer's ecosystem.


5. Market Analysis & Performance Tracking

    Data-Driven Insights: Utilize Nielsen, GfK, and retailer-specific data to track market share, promotional effectiveness, and shopper trends.

    Forecasting: Collaborate with Supply Chain and Finance to provide accurate sell-in and sell-out forecasts, minimizing "out-of-stock" risks.

    Competitor Benchmarking: Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring competitor moves and proposing proactive defensive or offensive tactics.


Our Requirements


Professional Experience:

    Commercial Track Record: Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Sales or Key Account Management within FMCG or Beauty, with at least 2 years in a leadership/managerial role.

    Drugstore Expertise: Deep knowledge of the Polish drugstore landscape (Rossmann, Hebe, Super-Pharm) and their specific commercial dynamics.

    Negotiation Prowess: Proven ability to lead complex, multi-million PLN negotiations at the corporate level.


Technical Skills:

    Financial Mastery: Advanced understanding of P&L, margin calculations, and promotional ROI analysis.

    Analytical Skills: Ability to turn complex data sets (Nielsen, internal SAP reports) into clear strategic recommendations.

    MS Office: Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint is essential for high-level business reviews.


Soft Skills & Leadership:

    Strategic Mindset: Ability to balance short-term sales targets with long-term brand building.

    Stakeholder Management: A "bridge-builder" who can effectively collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Digital teams.

    Entrepreneurial Spirit: A proactive leader who is not afraid to take calculated risks to "capture the market."
