A Day in the Life

As the Corporate Affairs & Engagement Lead based in our Cairo office, you will be a key driver in shaping and protecting L'Oréal's reputation in Egypt. You will craft and execute plans that build our corporate brand, align our local initiatives with global directions, and foster a strong sense of connection and purpose among our employees across all local entities (including our Cairo HQ and the DEG Egypt Factory).

  • Corporate Storytelling: You will develop compelling narratives that showcase our Group’s purpose and commitments.
  • Employee Engagement: You will design and implement internal communication campaigns and initiatives that inform, inspire, and engage our employees, reinforcing our unique culture.
  • Content & Digital Presence: You will be responsible for creating engaging content for our corporate platforms and managing our digital footprint to ensure a consistent and positive brand voice.
  • Project & Stakeholder Management: You will lead key communication projects and collaborate closely with various teams across the business to drive impact.

Key Job Accountabilities

  • Strategic Communications: Develop local communication and engagement strategies to connect Egypt employees to regional and country-specific strategic business priorities (growth strategy), L’Oréal's Sense of Purpose, corporate culture, and core values.
  • Executive & Leadership Support: Support local Leadership (Egypt Country General Manager & Management Committee) engagement with top internal and external stakeholders by developing key messaging, presentation materials, and executive thought-leadership content (e.g., external LinkedIn presence).
  • Engagement Framework: Lead the development and alignment of the Egypt employee engagement framework and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on the corporate campaign calendar to deliver an exceptional, employee-centric experience.
  • Omnichannel Content Creation: Create compelling, creative, and highly relevant content to maximize employee engagement across all digital touchpoints and internal communication channels.
  • Corporate Purpose & Sustainability: Partner closely with Egypt's Management Committee (ManCo) and departmental leaders to connect employees to L’Oréal's Sense of Purpose, the culture of Simplicity, Ethical values, and our L’Oréal For The Future (Sustainability) commitments to drive employee pride and active contribution.
  • Employer Branding & HR Partnership: Partner with the local HR team to shape the Employer Value Proposition (EVP) campaign strategy and messaging, while championing internal employee advocacy programs.
  • Actioning Pulse Feedback: Collaborate with Senior Leaders and HR to ensure Egypt's annual Pulse survey results are translated into concrete, local action plans, leading the communication of results, organizational changes, and progress.
  • Transformational Change Management: Support local transformational and strategic projects by driving change management campaigns that encourage behavioral shift, especially regarding new ways of working and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives.
  • Global-Local Liaison: Act as the primary liaison between the Global/Zone Employee Engagement Teams and the Egypt market to seamlessly roll out corporate campaigns, group tools, and new internal digital platforms.
  • Best Practice Scaling: Drive and adapt the employee engagement strategy across different Egyptian sites (HQ, DEG Usine Egypt Factory, etc.) and actively share best-in-class local practices with regional and global networks to scale up successful initiatives.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: You excel at building trust and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders (especially senior leadership).
  • Content Creation & Storytelling: You possess a natural talent for crafting compelling, creative narratives across various internal and external platforms.
  • Project & Change Management: You can effectively lead end-to-end communication campaigns and change management initiatives.
  • Language Proficiency: You are fully bilingual and fluent in both English and Arabic (written and spoken).
