Job Title: Cycle Count MMS ll

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30pm

Location: Cranbury, NJ

Role Purpose The MMS2 – Cycle Count Specialist is a vital member of the Quality team, responsible for ensuring the highest levels of inventory accuracy within the warehouse. This role involves the physical verification of stock levels through regular, systematic counting of bin locations using Power Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment and Radio Frequency (RF) scanning technology. They ensure that the physical inventory matches the Warehouse Management System (WMS) records, identifying and reporting discrepancies to maintain seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Auditing & Counting:
  • Perform daily cycle counts of designated bin locations as assigned by the Quality Team.
  • Utilize RF Guns/Scanners to record counts, ensuring real-time data accuracy in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Conduct "blind counts" or "directed counts" to verify product quantity, SKU, and batch/lot integrity.
• Equipment Operation:
  • Safely operate various PIT equipment (such as Cherry Pickers, Reach Trucks, Turret Truck or Sit-down Forklifts) to access high-bay storage and various bin levels.
  • Perform daily pre-operation safety inspections on equipment and report any maintenance needs immediately.
  • Maintain certification and adhere to all OSHA and internal safety guidelines regarding height and heavy machinery.
• Problem Identification & Escalation:
  • Identify and document inventory discrepancies (e.g., damaged goods, incorrect labeling, misplaced items, or "ghost" inventory).
  • Act as the first line of defense in identifying systemic issues or physical warehouse hazards.
  • Escalate complex issues, unresolved discrepancies, or operational roadblocks to a Team Lead immediately to ensure timely resolution.
• Warehouse Maintenance:
  • Ensure all bin locations are clean and that products are stored neatly to facilitate accurate counting and picking.
  • Assist in consolidating locations and identifying slow-moving or expired stock as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, and operate machinery for the duration of an 8–10 hour shift.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures.
