Job Description:

This role will be responsible for assisting the account manager for JCPenney, Macys and Nordstrom Rack with day-to-day commercial tasks to grow account business and increase sales. As an individual contributor, the Junior Sales Associate is responsible for assistance with commercial reporting & analysis and other administrative duties. This role is an hourly-paid internship experience.

 

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Runs and analyzes reoccurring (weekly, monthly, quarterly) sales reporting. Leverages cross-functional teams and tools to maximize automation and efficiency.

 

  • Assists with the analysis of promotions, marketing activations, markdowns, new item performance, and display and seasonal moments.

 

  • Develops and maintain top selling door tracker and analysis of top performing regions using internal tools

 

  • Works with internal team to track merchandising fixtures and communication to retailers on instore reset deliverables

 

  • Conducts analysis of 3rd party retail reporting for both online and instore sales

 

  • Assists team on any hoc projects as directed by management 

 

  • Assists in creation and execution of customer marketing programs

 

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Recent college graduate (within 12 months) from a Bachelor’s program.
  • Demonstrated interest in Sales and Marketing in the beauty industry.
  • Computer skills, including, but not limited to Microsoft Office applications (strong emphasis on Excel) and database management.
  • Self-starter, results oriented, strong networking skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Effective interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrate timeliness, attention to detail, and accuracy in all tasks.

 

A successful period of 12 months in this position could lead to the following possible positions:

·        Sales Administration
