Job Summary 

The Dr. G team is looking for a strategic, creative and consumer centric brand engagement profile to support lead the full brand engagement eco-system for the brand’s categories + Brand Equity.

This person will be responsible for developing & supporting business-driving full funnel strategy and execution across all brand engagement verticals inclusive of A&I, Social, and PR. They will assist in connecting brand engagement verticals to the customer journey to drive key KPIs (Traackr/MIM, TikTok Engagement and Video Views, DBPI), with a focus on establishing a US presence and recruiting a core customer base. This profile must be an influencer and social media enthusiast and have their finger on the pulse of beauty, culture and the masstige landscape, bringing best-in-class thought leadership and innovation to the Brand Engagement pillar. This person must have a strong business acumen, understanding of sales/retailer, competitive landscape, insights, and experience in paid media.

Responsibilities

The role of the Manager will include (but is not limited to) the following responsibilities:

Influencer/Social Marketing Management:

  • Support Advocacy & Influencer strategy to drive brand love, awareness, and conversion in support all new launches, pillars and business objectives
  • Co-Manage all Influencer Marketing initiatives and aspects of the brand’s go-to market 360 plans from strategy, through activation and reporting results both internally and on Traackr
  • Identify new and emerging influencers while simultaneously maintaining and growing relationships with key influencers and influencer management teams
  • Develop always-on nano/micro influencer strategy to increase awareness and advocacy
  • Co-manage the influencer negotiation/contracting and briefing process directly with influencer managers, internal legal team, and any 3rd party influencer agencies
  • Co-spearhead all paid social media campaigns and activations to ensure alignment for maximum reach and results across organic, paid and earned; and ensure cohesive storytelling across all activations
  • Oversee strategy to increase Dr. G’s share of influence within the category through awareness and conversion programming
  • Support and attend Influencer-related and industry events as needed
  • Partner with Brand Activation to align on key moments to properly plan and execute affiliate programming/special retailer events
  • Oversight of Owned/Earned social strategy and activation across all platforms
  • Enhance strategy as needed based on industry trends, innovations, consumer preferences, performance reporting and consumer-focused data (studies, retailer consumer reports, competitive analysis, etc)
  • Reinforce DMI guidelines and processes to category teams to help maintain brand DNA in influencer/creator selections, paid media and content
  • Co-Manage the Brand Engagement budget and product forecasting PO tracking, collaborate with finance on trend exercises, and manage Onefluence Data Integrity Project
  • Analyze and share insights from the L’Oreal USA CDMO/COE reports that highlight influencer activity internally and externally

Public Relations

  • Serve as the Day-to-Day comms and press lead in partnership with PR agency
  • Oversight of all Media pitching
  • Co-lead Spokesperson Announcements- 360 launch inclusive of media, events, seeding, social, and A&I
  • Support Product/Brand Crisis/Corporate Communications management 

Qualifications/Requirements 

  • Minimum ten (5) years of Marketing experience with significant experience in digital content, social media, influencer and community management and public relations 
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • In-depth, knowledge and understanding of digital platforms and how they can be leveraged to achieve business goals, including emerging trends in channel performance and content strategies 
  • Experience executing digital & social media campaigns from upper funnel awareness campaigns to performance marketing campaigns focused on conversion 
  • Proven experience with brand communications, community management, social marketing, influencer & advocacy programs,  
  • Experience developing compelling social media campaigns and effective content strategies 
  • Detailed knowledge of CRM best practice and industry benchmarks 
  • Experience managing and developing a team, with experience onboarding to new social media management, listening platforms and social frameworks 
  • Exceptional organizational skills and high level of attention to detail 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to lead internal and executive level meetings/presentations 
  • Experience managing and cultivating direct reports 
  • Creative problem solver 
  • Ability to develop solid relationships and lead with influence  
  • Ability to manage in complex, matrixed, fast paced environment 

 

Additional Benefits Information As Follows:

Salary Range: $114,800 - $163,600 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
