What You Will Do:

Reporting to the AVP, Education & Development, this person will be accountable for the development and implementation of the training strategy, programs, and processes to support the CeraVe, La Roche-Posay, and Vichy L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty Brands.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with marketing, sales, and operations to identify training needs and recommend solutions
  • Develop, implement and facilitate training workshops as required for National Sales Meetings, New Hire Trainings and other meetings that may be necessary as determined by the commercial teams
  • Co-travel with new and current sales personnel to assess, coach and develop their level of brand knowledge and skills related to the sales process
  • Assist in creating a measurement strategy and sustainability process before and after programs/initiatives
  • Identify, design, create, and facilitate effective content that improves the desired competency level of field sales professionals
  • Responsible for coaching, developing, and utilizing the field-based trainers in on-boarding new hires and in new hire training programs
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze performance gaps and develop training initiatives to drive results
  • Continuously seek and support new approaches, practices, technology, and processes to improve the efficiency of training services offered
  • Plan, organize, and facilitate new hire and ongoing training programs
  • Become brand expert on assigned promoted and competitive brands
  • Help develop and deliver on an omni-channel marketing plan for brands supported leading to increased sales performance
  • Maintain LMS platform and track utilization of internal and external users
  • Build and execute digital trainings such as podcasts, newsletters, and video micro-learnings
  • Administrative work including but not limited to hotel bookings, vendor payment management, participant travel tracking, corporate room booking, management of training tools and expense reports.
  • Perform other duties as needed  

 

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 4 years in the industry or at least 2 years with L’Oréal 
  • A willingness to “roll up your sleeves” within a small team and wear multiple hats
  • Strong project management skills required
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive, self-motivated and self-directed
  • Strong verbal, listening, written communications and facilitation skills required
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and act decisively
  • Ability to serve as a role model/mentor/coach to new and tenured representatives
  • Demonstration of sustained, high performance in current position and a strong aptitude for sales training
  • Demonstration of high level of emotional intelligence & organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cosmetic or pharmaceutical sales/management experience preferred
  • Previous sales training experience, corporate and/or field-based is preferred

Travel:

  • This position requires 30% or more travel time.
