Role Overview:

The Manager, eCommerce Strategy is an individual contributor and cross-functional leader responsible for shaping how CPD competes and wins in eCommerce. This role operates at the intersection of strategy, insights, and digital acceleration, and combines knowledge of Digital Merchandising, Digital Shelf, CX, and e-operations. The ideal candidate brings strong eCommerce acumen, a data-driven mindset, and the executive presence to influence across Commercial, Marketing, and Digital teams. 

 

What You Will Do:

  • Manage, Distribute & Communicate Content Playbooks (copy, images, A+) across CPD eCommerce ecosystem, ensuring platform standards and brand guidelines are consistently met across all channels.
  • Commercialize, Maintain Integrity And Expand Functionality of Digital Toolkit as it Relates to PDP Content Strategy and Measurement across Sales, Category and Marketing teams; champion digital best practices across the organization.
  • Inform team on E-commerce Content Competitive Best Practices, Launches, Activations, and Emerging Trends Online.
  • Collaborate with Brand and Sales Teams to Support E-Commerce Digital Merchandising Opportunities.
  • Manage Organic Search and GEO Tactics and Measurement to Improve Share of Search Across Indirect Retail.com Platforms
  • Drive Digital Shelf Measurement & Reporting Across the Organization to Provide Actionable Insights/Recommendations to Drive PDP Optimizations to Ultimately Improve Conversion.
  • Co-Develop Commerce Content Learning Agenda across the portfolio in Partnership with CDMO & Sales, Marketing Teams & Establish Clear Measurement Framework to Drive Continuous Optimization.
  • Play Active role in LUSA E-Retail Tech Initiative Focused on Digital Shelf Measurement/Insights.
  • Act as Digital Tool Subject Matter Expert Across Relevant Measurement Platforms. (Salsify, NIQ, Bazaarvoice, Pencil AI, CreativeX, Vizit, E-Retail Tech, Stackline etc…)
  • Drive e-Acceleration initiatives across the CPD digital shelf, identifying growth opportunities and translating insights into actionable roadmaps for Commercial, Category and Marketing teams.
  • Evolve the eCommerce Insights framework — synthesizing Digital Shelf, competitive intelligence, and shopper behavior data

 

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

5–8+ years of experience in eCommerce, Digital Marketing, or Digital Shelf; demonstrated eCommerce channel experience required. 


  • Strong Understanding of the Digital Industry. Beauty or CPG industry experience preferred; strong eCommerce acumen required
  • Experience with Digital Shelf and PIM/DAM systems; Salsify experience a strong plus.
  • High Proficiency in MS Office: Excel and PowerPoint are a Must Have Skill. Ability to Create High-Impact Presentations and Proficiency in Telling a Cohesive Story
  • Must be Skilled at Executing Within Tight Timeframes with Excellent Attention to Detail, Accuracy, and a Sense of Urgency.
  • Ability to Manage Multiple Priorities Simultaneously and Meet Multiple, Competing Deadlines
  • Exceptional Written & Verbal Communication Skills
  • Must Demonstrate Strong Analytical, Organizational, Critical Thinking, and Problem-Solving Skills
  • Ability to Gather & Synthesize Data across Multiple Sources to Formulate Insights 
  • Promotes a Culture of Collaboration and Teamwork Within the Ecommerce Merchandising Team
  • Process-Oriented Mindset Along With High Level of Curiosity
  • Ability to Take Initiative, Act Proactively & Drive Projects to the Finish Line

  • Salary Range: : $98,400-$140,200 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
