Sanitizer (Parts Room Washer)

Location — Piscataway, NJ Division: Operations

Shift: Sun–Thu, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM

Reports to: Supervisor, Production

Pay: $21+

About the role Join L’Oréal Operations as a Sanitizer (Parts Room Washer) and play a crucial role in keeping our production lines GMP‑clean and running smoothly. You’ll disassemble, clean, sanitize and reassemble product‑contact parts (nozzles, screens, pumps, fillers), operate parts washers, complete sanitization logs and support multiple departments to meet quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, sanitize and reassemble packaging & processing parts per L’Oréal GMPs
• Operate parts washers and perform basic troubleshooting; notify Supervisor of repairs
• Maintain accurate sanitation logs, safety checklists and GMP documentation
• Support turnaround schedules and assist other sanitizing staff as needed
• Follow PPE, hygiene and safety protocols; participate in continuous improvement initiatives

What we’re looking for

• Solid knowledge of GMP and sanitation best practices
• Ability to disassemble/reassemble equipment parts and use cleaning tools safely
• Basic equipment troubleshooting and maintenance awareness
• Physical stamina: repeated bending, standing, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Effective verbal & written English; flexibility to work off shifts and overtime
• HS diploma or equivalent preferred; 1–3 years manufacturing experience preferred
