Reports To: Cell Manager, Unit Production Administration 

Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday-Friday, 2:45PM – 10:55PM)

What You Will Learn:

Responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient cleaning and sanitizing of machine parts, containers, totes, etc., the accurate recording of data, and the disassembly and reassembly of equipment. The washroom coordinator will be responsible for these tasks in both the UP1 and UP2 washroom.

  • Wash and sanitize all equipment (filler wet parts, nozzles, pumps)
  • Assemble and disassemble all equipment
  • Troubleshoot equipment
  • Identify improvement opportunities for equipment
  • Order parts
  • Manage equipment
  • Operate PIT 2  
  • Excellent Time Management 
  • Adhere to all L’Oreal Safety Standards
  • Adhere to GMPs/SOPs and housekeeping standards
  • Execute production schedules issued by department manager
  • Comply 100% with all documentation requirements (OTC, Cleaning, Safety checklist, etc.)
  • Maintain area of responsibility in a clean, organized, and tidy manner
  • All employees are trained, provided with, and required to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment
  • Communicate with Processing and Packaging to prioritize needs
  • Improve parts control
  • Maintain a spare part area (gaskets, reducers, and clamps)
  • Second set of “Wet Parts” changeovers
  • Identify damaged change parts
  • Ensure change parts arrive and are returned as complete sets
  • Work with floor to improve changeover times
  • Lead efforts to improve washroom efficiencies
  • Cleaned and sanitized parts are to be “bagged and tagged”

 

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be able to stand for long periods.
  • Must be able to tolerate working in an environment of high temperatures.
  • Must be able to tolerate working in a wet environment where often times clothing becomes wet.
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude required
  • Must have excellent safety and attendance records.
  • Must have ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must have strong organizational skills.
  • Must be able to work overtime as required.
  • Must be able to demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment. 
  • Must be able to train on all of the above listed functions. 
  • Write OPL’s 
  • Manage washroom orders and PO’s (coordinate with Maintenance Coordinate, follow up on PO statuses, obtain quotes from vendor, advise on receipt of goods) 
  • Shift efficiency 
  • Manage 5S of washroom area 
  • Mechanical aptitude required
  • Computer literacy required
  • Have Organization & Documentation Skills

 

       Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting (up to 50 lbs.), bending, crawling required

       Preferred Qualifications:

       Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
