What You Will Do:

The Demand Planning Manager will partner with Marketing, Finance, Commercial and Operations to create a comprehensive demand forecast encompassing all SKU’s within their assigned business area.  This role is responsible for synthesizing data from S&OP stakeholders, utilizing demand signals, and effectively communicating risk & opportunities to senior leadership to reach consensus with the goal of having the demand plan lead the financial trend/budget.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the development, review, and implementation of an unbiased 15-month rolling forecast for use in financial, production and strategic planning processes.
  • Interact and collaborate with Sales, Marketing & Finance in the development of the forecast, by considering market trends, stock in trade and brand priorities.
  • Ensure consistency of forecast assumptions across the business unit, including targeted strategic customers, base business trends, promotional plans, media, launch sizing, planogram changes and seasonal volume.
  • Analyze forecast variation/deviation with the goal to minimize out of stocks and prevent the build of excess & obsolete inventory. 
  • Own Demand Review meetings to ensure objectives are clearly identified and inputs from stakeholders are clear and aligned ahead of consensus meetings.
  • Manage the product catalogue inclusive of launch sizing, cannibalization, and end of lifecycle.

 

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or Business related
  • Minimum of 3 years demand planning or related experience
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills required
  • Experience working with a forecast software system
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills

Additional Benefits Information As Follows:

Salary Range: $98,400.00-$140,200.00 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
