Retail Brand Coordinator - Hair (Benelux)

Within our Consumer Products Division, we democratize beauty: we make the best beauty products available for all consumers with iconic and inclusive brands like L’Oréal Paris, Garnier, Maybelline New York and NYX Professional Makeup. We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Brand Coordinator to join our dynamic hair care team in the Benelux region. Retail Brand Coordinator

As a Retail Brand Coordinator you are the backbone of the team. You have a supporting role, making sure all process within the marketing team run smoothly. You will be primarily assisting retail brand managers and overseeing everything that happens in the retailers' stores. 

Your Mission: Lead POSM execution, driving harmonization and operational excellence across BNL to deliver impactful retail experiences through strong stakeholder collaboration.

Your Key responsibilities include:

POS Management:

  • Own and optimize the POS process across CPD BNL.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders (RBMs, Subco, Supply & Demand, Purchase) to develop innovative POS solutions.
  • Brief and guide interns supporting POS activities.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality POS materials.

Retail Marketing Support:

  • Provide comprehensive support to Retail Brand Managers across various retail marketing activities.
  • Create artwork for in-store elements (e.g., displays, signage), brochures, and gift sets.
  • Coordinate the point-of-sale (POS) process with relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate events and manage shipments.
  • Manage purchase orders (POs) and create items codes.
  • Handle ad-hoc requests from retailers and the internal team.

Retail Activation & Event Support:

  • Provide support for retail activations and events.
  • Support RBMs with post-activation analysis and launch trackers.
  • Contribute to impactful retail experiences that enhance brand visibility and drive sales.

 

 

 

 

 

COLLABORATION

This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills. To successfully perform this role, you will collaborate with:

Retail Brand Managers, who translate brand plans into retailer plans.

Product Brand Managers, who translate brand plans into media plans and the ideal product portfolio.

Sales supports, for requests directly from retailers.

POS suppliers

Subcontracting

Interns of the Hair Team

The Business Manager, to whom you report.

 

QUALITIES AND EDUCATION

To qualify for this position:

  • You are able to quickly and effectively interact with internal and external contacts/stakeholders.
  • You are available full-time (40 hours).
  • Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written (absolute must-have) Knowledge of French is a plus.
  • You have a passion for marketing 
  • You are proficient in Excel and PowerPoint and can quickly learn operational tools.
  • You thrive in the pressure and dynamics of an ambitious FMCG environment.
  • You have persuasion skills and are results-oriented.
  • You are open to new challenges and have perseverance.
  • You are creative and can think outside the box.
  • You are a team player but can also independently manage processes.
