What You Will Do: 

The Manager of Training (MOT) has the responsibility to effectively manage the planning and coordination and implementation of the Brands training. 

The MOT is responsible for the coaching, training, and development of the Brands Artistic Network with specific focus on Level 1 and 2 Artists and New Hires.  

  1. Ensure that Matrix Artists and Educators are best in class (i.e., Excellent technical skills, facilitation skills, product knowledge; aligned and able to articulate brand priorities; act as brand champions in the market, whether on stage, in salons/stores, or on digital platforms) 
  2. Ensure that education content is best-in-class across all platforms. 
  3. Ensure that our Shows & Events, as it relates to Education Artists, are best in class, both live and virtual.

 

 

What We Are Looking For: 

Required Qualifications: 

  • High School graduate. College graduates a plus.
  • Current Cosmetology license
  • At least 3 – 5 years of professional beauty industry experienceevent planning or education 
  • Superior communication skills
  • Ability to manage a high volume of activity, with adaptability to changing demands
  • Experience in people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire
  • Strong facilitation skills in adult learning principles
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint (required) and SalesForce.com and/or SAP (preferred)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to travel (minimum 40% / 10 or more days per month)
  • Ability to be flexible and accept change and be a team player

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Master Colorist
  • Advanced Beauty Industry Certifications
