Job Title: Company Store – Junior Store Operations Associate

Reports To: This role reports directly to Store Manager – L’Oreal West while working closely with Store Operations and Digital Company Store team

Pay: $26.00/hour (~ 40 hours/week)
What You Will Do
The L’Oreal Company Stores is looking for an enthusiastic Company Store – Junior Store Operations Associate to join our team!
In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in the retail cosmetic industry in this unique employee benefit department with exposure to Corporate HR. You will be responsible for supporting the backend store operations for the entire Company Store department while also completing the daily tasks of a retail store.
Retail (Company Store) Job Responsibilities – 90%
support Company Store – El Segundo, CA
- Consistently deliver outstanding customer service reflecting Company Store’s commitment to our customers and creating an enhanced shopping experience
- Responsible for product and brand image presentation while maintaining a neat and organized store
- Responsible for all daily POS procedures and monthly reconciliation in accordance with procedures and guidelines.
- Participate in daily inventory management tasks – including but not limited to receiving shipments/pallets promptly and stocking/re-stocking maintaining inventory levels from L’Oreal divisions
- Assist with in-store operational responsibilities while complying with company policies and procedures
Store Operations Job Responsibilities – 10%
support store operations and digital team
- Maintain daily and monthly sales reports for the Company Store department
- Work within Matrix POS (Point of Sale System) on data maintenance, transfers, adjustments and price changes
- Support with new item creation, SKU maintenance, order tracking and packing lists within SAP to assist with new item integration, SKU maintenance, order tracking and packing lists
- Special projects as needed

Job Requirements
- Current or recent graduate-level student. Candidates must have received a Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months OR must have graduated with a Master’s degree within the last 12 months with no gap more than 5 months in education history
- Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, TEAMS, Sharepoint)
- Retail, Ecommerce, and/or Store Operations experience preferred
- Strong ability to multi-task and be flexible in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent entrepreneurial, problem solving and analysis skills
- Positivity, resourcefulness, teamwork, initiative, thoroughness, reliability, and resilience are key factors to success in this role
- Travel out of state may be required for annual team meeting
- Regular lifting of up-to 40 lbs. required, with regular squatting, kneeling, bending, and extended periods on your feet
- Willing to work a flexible schedule, including extended business hours and Saturdays when needed
