Position Overview/Position Responsibilities:

The Inventory Control Auditor performs smushing and slotting in the warehouse in accordance with established procedures and conducts order audits on the shipping dock for order accuracy.   Proficient in either case pick, layer pick and CPC operations.  Ensures the team efficiently picks customer orders for shipment, while confirming the correct number and type of damage free products are palletized and prepared to ship.  Ensure proper labeling is placed on all orders; maintain all data and records as appropriate.  Also open to training to backfill other inventory members in their absence or upon operational need for critical functions which include but are not limited to (order allocation, stock sync, destructions, buy backs, returns)  

  • Execute the continuous cycle count program-- counting materials in the warehouse and recording results into the RF. 
  • Oversee the activity of pallet audits on outbound shipments to ensure quality standards are maintained.  Report on the results of this activity to the DC  
  • Keep appropriate daily records and exception reporting on cycle counting and order auditing.  Produce monthly spreadsheets and commentary packages quantifying audit results. 
  • Processing and issuing credit memos to customers. 
  • Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that inventory control and security are maintained; assist in physical inventory. 
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area; assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse; conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety; comply with OHSA and other applicable standards; report issues and problems to management; coordinate as necessary with all other departments. 
  • Work with cross-functional teams in other departments/sites. 

What We Are Looking For:

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent  
  • Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in warehouse / manufacturing environment  
  • Efficient with Microsoft Office; demonstrated proficiency in all Clerk responsibilities
