Job Title: Manager – Retail Replenishment Planning

What You Will Do:
The Manager – Retail Replenishment Planning is a unique opportunity to optimize inventory management and replenishment for sustainable business channels—primarily Company Stores (both online and retail)—as well as emerging replenishment support for Outlets, in line with the department’s vision and strategy. This role prioritizes inventory assortment balance across all brands based on demand and product availability, understanding the critical impact this has on the overall shopping experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Responsible for managing inventory for all active items across 30+ L'Oréal USA brands within Company Stores locations. This includes submitting timely monthly orders by brand/by store, fulfilling each store’s unique demand and ensure proper brand representation
- Sustainability & E&O Strategy: Contribute to L’Oréal’s global sustainability goals by optimizing E&O inventory through proactive replenishment planning levering the unique operational models of our sustainable business channels
- Data Analysis & Estimate QTY Needs: Utilize sales data, shopper trends, and store activities to accurately estimate QTY needs and determine reliable order quantities to ensure brand representation
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with leadership teams, store teams, customer service, accounting, finance, and divisional supply chain partners to incorporate insights, ensure alignment on projections, and facilitate timely deliveries
- Reporting & Reconciliation: Synthesize inventory and sales data from various sources into comprehensive reports for leadership review. This also involves analyzing inventory turnover and excess inventory as well as performing inventory reconciliation between S4 and Matrix systems
- System Monitoring: Monitoring the ELK reporting tool to ensure smooth inventory flows and promptly addressing any issues
- Outlet Inventory Optimization: Support the end-to-end replenishment process for the outlet stores and contribute to the definition of best practices for future stock operations
- Ad-hoc Order Requests: Manage and submit ad-hoc order requests, such as for gift sets for distribution from central Company Store warehouse
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 5-10 years experience in demand planning, inventory management, or a related role, preferably within the cosmetics or retail industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
