Role Summary

This role will be a technical role, responsible for sustainability (L4TF) projects across the Franklin facility, including analyzing opportunities, identifying ideas, defining scope, funding, and managing implementation. The sustainability projects will be targeting 3 main areas: water conservation and recycling, energy usage reduction, and waste generation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage site water and energy loss maps, and understand the main opportunities to improve.
  • Define the project pipeline, feasibility studies, and justification required ahead of implementation.
  • Responsible for scope definition, cost estimate, funding strategy, and execution.
  • Manage contractors working on the projects, ensuring they are following all safety and quality requirements and that they are delivering the required scope of work.
  • Own end-to-end project execution, from conception to turnover too perations or facilities team, including validation process.
  • Manage site utilities PO’s – Electricity, gas,waterand sewage.
  • Support L'Oreal's safety, health, and environmental programs.
  • Manage, assist, or effect the procurement of new equipment or spare parts.
  • Maintain an effective labor/employee relations environment.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee all necessary record systems.
  • Manage, implement, and support all L'Oreal policies, including, but not limited to, the Corporation's Equal Employment Opportunity policy.
  • Perform other duties as necessary or required.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’sdegree,preferably in Chemical Engineering or relevant experience in the field.  
  • 10 Years of experience in technical capacity involving comparable equipment and systems.
  • Relevant experience with water systems such as: RO systems, water treatment plants, Heat exchangers, softener systems, etc.
  • Relevant experience with Heat transfer systems and steam generation and distribution(Boilers, Heat Exchangers, Chillers, HVAC).
  • Capable of managing medium-to-large capital investments.
  • Work well in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate excellent people management skills, including the ability to develop a team of individuals capable of producing extraordinary results.
  • Demonstrate the L’Oreal competencies, including but not limited to creative problem solving, decision making, achievement orientation, cultivation of talent, and strong communication skills.
