A Day in the Life

As a Business Analyst Intern at L'Oréal Romania within our Consumer Products Division (CPD), reporting to the Business Planning Manager, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team driving strategic decision-making. You will gain hands-on experience in analyzing market trends, supporting business planning, and contributing to the overall success of our brands in the Romanian market. This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop your analytical and problem-solving skills while contributing to the growth of a leading beauty company. You will be directly involved in key projects, developing your analytical and communication skills, and contributing to the overall success of CPD in Romania. 

  • Data-Driven Insights & Reporting: Collect and analyze sell-in/sell-out data. This includes analyzing promotional campaign effectiveness and contributing to accurate forecasting and planning.
  • Operational Support & Project Management: Support in promo files and credit notes for specific customers. Adjust the launches in the commercial tool based on the promo plan after every feasibility meeting. Monthly preparation of the assortment file for every client we work with (including all the listed products in their stores with information about them - client code, SAP code, EAN code, product name). 
  • Retailer Collaboration & Information Management: Prepare launch listing sheets for new products and input accurate product information into retailer platforms, ensuring compliance with retailer requirements.

 We Are Looking For

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual currently pursuing a Master's degree or a recent graduate in business administration, economics, or a related field. International exposure is a plus. The ideal candidate possesses advanced Excel skills, strong communication skills, and a meticulous attention to detail. They are a team player, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Commercial Calculations: Ability to perform complex commercial calculations and financial modeling.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to use data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Promotions Management: Understanding of promotional mechanics and their impact on sales.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
