Urban Decay Cosmetics is seeking an Account Director for the free standing stores to join our team in Newport Beach, CA.


POSITION PURPOSE


The primary purpose of this position is to drive Retail Sales for FSS’s, creating a unique point of difference. The individual will be responsible for overseeing the FSS promotional strategy, marketing calendar, inventory planning, ensuring retail sales plans are established and achieved and building trusting relationships with all internal teams. Works directly with internal key management including: UD.com, Marketing, Education, Operations and the International team. Will communicate and present to senior leadership.

 

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Establish retail sales plans by door and total roll up for FSS, communicate to all internal teams.
  • Create and set up marketing calendar to maximize sales opportunities and drive traffic into free standing stores aligning with UD.com.
  • Plan and coordinate Marketing Calendar, Launch Dates, Events and Promotional Activity.
  • Build upon current Loyalty/CRM programs to drive customers into stores.
  • Create FSS Point of Difference; formulating unique selling strategy and service menu programs.
  • Work with AVP of Field Sales monitoring conversion and developing programs to increase FSS KPI’s.
  • Set retail and sales budget, set plans by door, and ensure inventory, sales and marketing, and merchandising support is in place to achieve all sales plans.
  • Track and manage profitability of each door and total FSS organization to ensure healthy profit and YOY growth.
  • Build and maintain professional and trusting relationships with all internal and external teams.
  • Analyze retail sales, sku sales, and the mix of business maximizing sales opportunities while continually challenging ways to improve processes.              
  • Collaborate and communicate with other UD departments to ensure a consistent brand message is communicated.
  • Supervise and develop Account Managers, oversee their work, set expectations and goals.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education/ Experience/ Licenses or Certifications:

  • 4 year degree in Business, Communication, or Marketing.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Beauty and/or Retail industry.
  • Department store experience preferred.

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
