We have a suitable opportunity for the position of Sales Planner Modern Trade. This is an individual contributor role where one has to do analysis of market trends, business performance and its levers and make recommendations. You should have minimum 6 to 8 years work experience in Sales Planning. Applicants with experience in FMCG (either Key Accounts or sales operations) or retailing would be preferred. The location of the job will be in Mumbai.

Job Responsibilities:

  • You will conceptualize and integrate modern trade objectives and priorities in the overall plans and objectives of the Division. This involves planning for both Channels of Modern Trade – MT Food (Grocery Business) and MT Selective (Makeup Business)

Key Deliverables:

  • You will lead business planning and forecasting for the channel and key categories
  • You will do regular business performance analysis with reporting and analytics
  • You will drive business reviews with monitoring and tracking month on month growth, delivery and improvement areas
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams for business planning and executing brand alignment meetings with key partners
  • You will manage budget and drive a better Return on Investment outlook

  • Modern Trade - Business understanding and ways of working
  • Analytical skills to do gap / opportunity analysis (category-wise)
  • Social and presentation skills and proficient in excel
  • Sensitivity to beauty

  • Internal: Key Accounts Chains, Marketing, Sales Development, Supply Chain and Regional Sales Team, Operations, Logistics, customer service and control team
