So we have redefined leadership; As Purchasing Manager you will be directly reporting to Operations Director and you will be leading a team including 3 people. What we expect;

4 years’ university degree

Minimum 12 years of experience in direct & indirect purchasing, preferably in several product categories

Good knowledge in POS / Promo manufacturing, materials, marketing services and contract management

Team management experience

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

Excellent knowledge of MS Office Applications and SAP

Aware of Business Ethics

Self-initiating and proactive

 

Manage and develop country purchasing team in line with the Group’s purchasing strategies and policies

Define purchasing strategy: Input, build and/or challenge category strategies. Have high product sensitivity. Ensure to have the best-suited supplier portfolio for all categories.

Analyze business needs and challenges demand: Anticipate major evolution of needs

Propose the most valuable option involving internal and external network/resources

Develop Market intelligence tool on categories

Optimize costs: Capture breakthrough ideas coming from suppliers

Maximize value creation opportunities impacting P&L and Top Line

Activate all levers of the value chain through the Cost Models

Anticipate business activity and acts proactively: Input business needs and lead the categories’ strategies locally in line with the global strategy

Maximize supplier relationships

Drive improvement projects with strategic suppliers impacting P&L and Top Line contribution

Capture innovation opportunities form internal & external sources and create value

Negotiate with integrity: Coach and challenge teams in terms of negotiation strategy, use innovative negotiation levers

Operate according to internal control principles and legal rules: Develop a competitive advantage (exclusivity, group strategy, innovation, CSR, …)

Evaluate and manage risks: Define and implement risk management policy

Implement advanced/breakthrough methodologies or tools to create value and to secure risk

Manage performance and efficiency of the team and systems

Support and manage stakeholders’ relationships
