What You Will Do:

As the OMS and Payments Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving the strategic direction and execution of omni-channel order management and payment solutions for the L'Oréal Americas Zone. You will be responsible for executing the technology strategy, aligned with the business goals and L'Oréal's larger ERP transformation. We are looking for a tech savvy, initiative-taking individual with a blend of strategy, technical delivery, and business relationship management skills.

  • Spearhead the strategic planning and execution of omni channel order management and payment solutions to enhance customer experience, drive sales and improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide technology leadership and oversight to the product team that is comprised of internal and external teams.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product management, and cross-functional delivery leaders to formulate and execute a multi-year technology roadmap.
  • Partner with the global team to co-create a global core model with proper governance for scalability and agility.
  • Work with enterprise architecture teams and cross-functional delivery teams to build modern, scalable architectures that adhere to L'Oréal's enterprise standards.
  • Oversee the technology vendor landscape, conducting negotiations, and ensuring the delivery of superior services and solutions within agreed budgets and timelines.
  • Manage large complex projects and teams, effectively negotiate/influence others, and communicate technical/complex information.
  • Define processes to achieve system reliability, end-to-end observability, and sustain operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with transversal support team to streamline quality rollout through automation and DevOps practices.
  • Implement best practice development methodologies to achieve higher velocity and throughput while ensuring predictable delivery.
  • Strategically manage the technology development budget to optimally allocate resources towards achieving business objectives that includes regular reporting on budgets and forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing regular project updates and addressing concerns or issues.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, leveraging them to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with platform providers and influence their product roadmaps.
  • Possess a blend of business acumen and diligence to transform strategy into action.
  • Guide, mentor, and develop a high-performance technology team, nurturing an atmosphere of collaboration, professional growth, and operational excellence.

 

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience in technology including at least 5 years of experience leading teams.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing omni-channel technology solutions.
  • Strong technical foundation with expertise in Ecommerce back-office systems such as order management, payment orchestration, marketplace aggregators etc.
  • Deep understanding of order management and payment capabilities such as order orchestration, order processing, inventory management etc.
  • Deep understanding of Omni channel payment flows and experience working with payment gateways, processors etc.
  • Understanding of OMS integrations with other enterprise systems such as Commerce, POS, WMS, ERP etc.
  • Experience and or deep understanding of different eCommerce models such as B2C, B2B, FBA, Social Commerce etc. and the corresponding technical architecture and integrations is a plus.
  • Experience working on Fluent Commerce or other OMS platforms like Manhattan IBM Sterling is a plus.
  • Understanding of Event driven and Micro services architecture.
  • Familiarity with Webservices and Enterprise Integration technologies.
  • Experience working in an agile product model.
  • Ability to work in a complex and dynamic landscape.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization.
